Our idea of a perfect overnight spot!

Great spot with views and a picnic table. Quiet at night. When we stayed there were two other vans for the evening. The approach road is single track but lots of passing places. Look out for dolphins from the cliffs! Enjoy.

Nice spot with good views. Cannot walk dogs to Downpatrick head.

Endroit idyllique surtout par beau temps. Avec une table de pique-nique et un accès aux rochers au bord de l’eau. Nous étions 2 sur ce petit parking. Il y avait aussi 6-7 camping-car sur le grand parking.

no need to repeat what is said in the other comments; just one more advise : watch the horizon, you might see dolphins. Seen at the sunset and in the morning

We stopped in the next bay about 100 metres along. Space for 2 vans. Quiet (apart from the wind and the crashing waves haha). The official parking area near the head was packed full of cars and a few vans. (the portaloos by the way we’re stinky and disgusting).

Un très beau site sauvage. Petite visite sur les falaises et un blowhole bien protégé. Les parkings se vident vers 18h00. Les inconditionnels de la nuit en sauvage, peu nombreux, s'accrochent comme des berniques sur le granit.

Very nice pullover with a picnic table. We were all alone - just the views, the cows and sound of waves.

Soirée et nuit calmes. Beaucoup d'allées et venues en journée pour visiter Downpatrick Head. Vue agréable et très beau coucher de soleil, juste en face.

This is spectacular as previously reviewed. We are here right now and fully appreciating the wonderful location and views. Unfortunately, a previous user without decency or respect for the area they are enjoying or for other users has emptied their toilet cassette over the side of the fence…toilet paper all over! What is wrong with these people! People like this spoil everything they go near!

Good park up. Busy but gets quieter in the evening. No problems about parking up. Fantastic views. Enough for 3/4 vans, flattish parking and picnic table. 2 other vans parked up for the night.

Here on a Sunday, the road down is very narrow and was a challenge because of the traffic. Main car park too busy so this one is perfect and nice walk to the head. Construction work ongoing at the moment for the Red Bull cliff diving next week so main car park very busy.

Very good spot. No height limitations. Ni services. Easy levelling. Near the shore where the waves break.

Great spot, portaloos are in the main car park as well. nice and quiet I was the only person in my little parking lot on the side of the road prior to the main one.

Super endroit très calme, bercés par le bruit des vagues. On était seuls en ce mois de janvier, et n'avons vu personne : le rêve !!

Une vue magnifique. Fin août, nous étions seuls là haut. Aucun service. Pas protégé du vent.
