stayed for a couple of hours plenty of warning signs about no overnight parking. ok for the day

  • 5/5

The East car park is split in two, the front which is next to the pub and front of Travel lodge has signs everywhere saying no overnight parking/pay or else the car park at the back which is on Google maps and says its the same name, has NO signs about parking at all, it has a machine which if you put £1 in at 5pm says you paid till 9 am the next day, faces the Kite Surf Cafe stayed ok

As it says, no longer available. Previously used with meals in the Pub. We returned 7th Jan to find signage and cctv indicating maximum 4 hrs parking (charge). We didnt stop, we moved on. This site needs to be removed from this App.

  • 1/5

No longer free after many complaints from locals after too many motorhomes used it for a free beach holiday. A parking meter is now installed, those using the pub will get their fee refunded.

  • 5/5

The car park is excellent to park to use beach, however after talking with staff it sadly isn't for use overnight and camera's are due to be installed for charges, possibly because of over use by motorhomes etc. and overfill in the summer and no room for customers. We did use the pub and was really good, wouldn't like to suggest staying overnight.

Great little park up. stayed lastnight was a bit noisy with the usual music playing but after about 10.30 went quite. staying again tonight great view of the beach to wake up to. its free parking and just a 5 min walk into Rhyl. first time I've actually used park4night to stay any where other members descriptions are spot on. great app.

Great car park behind the Marstons pub. Public toilets just a stone throw down the beach, however small town nearby with amenities which will suffice. Quiet car park, plenty of other campers and a beautiful view of the beach from your front window!

Good park up , there’s pub facing , and your right on the beach front wasn’t noisy when we stayed Saturday night public car park so few cars in and out until around about 12 o’clock midnight but dint bother us 5 min walk to town centre and all attractions great place to stay over night or weekend

  • 3/5

Went to stay on here but found it’s not suitable for larger vans (6.7m).

  • 4/5

It's a great free spot park next to the beach and a pub only problem is it's a public car park so going to get slamming doors and the rev the engines up until the pub closes

  • 5/5

Stayed two nights as so lovely being right next to the beach, toilets 5 mins away but do close overnight. Free parking and many other motor homes there too, it is a pub car park and no one came to us to move on ?

We stayed 7/8 sept 21, no barrier in place, it is a basic pub car park, with bays marked out for normal cars. A few smaller cans were on site. We are 9m and parked on the corner and got away with it. I suggest smaller cans only, probably 6.5m max.good stopover easy reach of town and it’s virtually on the beach.

  • 2/5

Was only ever a carpark but was turned into a campsite with chairs, bbq's etc. still fine for vans under the barriers as long as they don't abuse

  • 1/5

    Height barrier! 2m unfortunately

  • 4/5

Nice spot but a bit cramped on Bank Holiday weekend, many large, wide motorhomes and not enough room in each space for them to park side by side so lots of spaces unable to be used. Good signal and very close to shops and amenities. Right on the beach edge.

Excellent place.great sea view.no problem caravan parked. best free parking. 10 min full shops fish and chips great place.tnx

  • 4/5

Bel posto fronte mare ma per camper piccoli max. 6mt. un pó rumoroso.

  • 5/5

Found this place amazing lots around to do pubs, shops and many more lovely sun set in the night. Stopped here for one night and had no problem, could of stayed longer, would stop here again

Beautiful area, supposed to stay 1 night, stayed 2. lovely sea view to wake up to, quiet and safe. 2 min walk to sea aquarium, 2min walk to indoor water park. close to shops and public toilets. Exceptional promenade to walk or ride bikes. Other vans parked up at same time, however 1 of them had a generator running until late and it was put on again early in the morning.

  • 5/5

Perfect place to stay, we slept here with at least 10 others. Well lit and feels very safe with lovely morning view :)

  • 3/5

An absolute perfect stopover. Unfortunately, another case where a few spoil it for the many. Some fellow campers felt it appropriate to put chairs outside vans, light a bbq at the side of their van, one even started a generator whilst taking 2 spaces over a kerb! The landowner (The Sun Verge pub) is not happy and things will change. Please respect this amazing opportunity for free beach parking.

Amazing place ended up staying 3 nights lovely views & 5 minutes walk from town would highly recommend 5*

  • 4/5

Good place to stay handy 4 the beach and shops

  • 4/5

There's a sign at the entrance requiring the purchase and display of a ticket. No prohibitions on overnight parking. The authority behind the sign is unknown. But no ticket machine in the car park. We stayed two days without any issues.

  • 4/5

Busy carpark behind Marstons The Sun Verge Pub and Travelodge. Nice views looking out to sea with lovely walks along the promenade and easy walking distance to shops and amusements. Peaceful night's sleep after 23:00 - 10:00 . 6 other campers/ MH when we stayed

  • 5/5

Nice car park looking over the beach. fair few people around after 10pm but not noisy or anything. decent beach for a walk. pleasant views.

  • 5/5

It's busy in the day due to location, perfect for the town and beach. like the fact its free

  • 1/5

We rang no answer so called in and they said they've stopped doing it

  • 5/5

Great spot for free overnight stay and s super view, in the middle of Rhyl. Lots of pubs, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Recommended.

  • 5/5

Spacious car park with views to the beach. A bit noise during the day, but quieter after 10pm.
