Great site and good price for facilities and hook up. Visited in winter but will definitely be back. Great views and right in the town. Helpful staff. what more would you want for £18 per night??
Situé dans The Garrison Grounds à seulement quelques minutes à pied du front de mer et de la ville de Millport. Commerces de proximité dont laverie et location de vélos à proximité. La plupart des emplacements sont plats, il y en a quelques-uns en pente plus adaptés aux petits camping-cars de 6 m. Ne prend que 10 minutes en ferry depuis Largs, prix du ferry approximatif de 28 £ aller-retour avec 2 personnes et camping-car de moins de 8 m.
Located in The Garrison Grounds only a few minutes walk from the seafront and the town of Millport. Local shops including Launderette and cycle hire nearby. Most pitches are level, there are a few sloping ones more suitable for smaller 6m campervans. Only takes 10 mins on ferry from Largs, Approx ferry fare £28 return with 2 persons and motorhome under 8m.

crackers6804/07/2022Bit pricey but easy and welcoming. Slightly sloping sites, even with ramps. Cafe toilets available 10-4, then 40p public toilets. No showers, but all other facilities. View could be nice from some pitches but blocked by a marquee during our stay. Great location on the island. very friendly pubs. Hired bikes to go round the island which is only about 10 miles. £18 per night. Very laid back
jimsmimm13/06/2022Very well placed Aire in center of town, can be difficult to access up a small narrow street due to inconsiderate car owners parking, we had to mount the opposite pavement to get past, the price has increased to £18, which for the facilities is definitely over priced, many of the bays are on a slope and facilities are minimal.

Great facility on an island where there are few places to park up. Grey waste not a drive over which is a shame on a newly built site. Great for a night's stop off as we explored the Firth of Clyde

We came here as part of a group to trial the aire. The Right hand side of photo will be for campervans below 6.5m. A few sloping pitches here but it was more noticeable as these were being occupied by larger vans. Its in a great location. Fresh water, EHU, and black waste all on site and the town and seafront is a mere 2-3 minute walk away.
