Definitely off-road terrain to drive up especially to the top spot for the views of the sea. But we’ll worth it. Quiet, peaceful, secluded spot. Great free option - bins available, but no other facilities.

A lovely grassy/sandy car park about 100ft from a road, so safe for dogs, overlooking the beach & mountains. Absolutely stunning spot for a sunrise & sunset! Multiple parking areas, one of which is up a hill overlooking the beach and mountains, be it slightly bumpy, and another on easy flat ground.
Kleiner grasbewachsener/sandiger Parkplatz, etwa 30 m von einer Straße entfernt, mit Blick auf den Strand und die Berge. Absolut atemberaubender Ort für einen Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang!

DaveM197331/08/2023Great place for an overnight stop. We drove up to the higher level with a view over the sea to Scotland. Take care to avoid the sandy patches when driving up on parking on the top. We are in a Renault Master MWB and managed ok. Easy access to the beach for walking/swimming.

What a great spot ! but please read ! i had just picked up a kebab from the local town and keen to get to the view of the estuary i drove my vivaro up the hill until i reached the top. Unfortunately when i got there i met a really large sandy patch and i got stuck, bad ! completely my fault, no fault of the location at all, just please go up on foot first to check it out. Thx 2 the vw 4 the tow

We loved this spot! There are 2 levels- a flat lower level and an upper level with a lovely sea view and paths down to the quiet beach. If your like us and determined to get a sea view then get ready for some very bumpy up hill off roading. We got up in our LWB Mercedes Sprinter with no issues! ?

franneck198910/07/2022Schöner Platz hinter der Düne mit einfachem Zugang zum Wasser. Alleine für den grandiosen Sonnenuntergang hat es sich schon gelohnt. Haben darüber hinaus eine ruhige Nacht verbracht.

Really nice spot but to say the entrance to the top parking bit is bumpy is a slight under statement lol. Its grass and sand with big dips, not a drive or road. Love it though but not for a motor home really, more a van.

It's a really nice off the road place to park up for the night. Some trafic noise, but close to the beach! I can not complain, for free! Well worth knowing. Thank you to this app and the people who use it. I could not be without it! Some litter that really annoyed me, especially when a bin is provided! picked it all up, as I do care about nature park up.
TinaKidney23/11/2021Fabulous place to park. managed to get right on top of the dunes looking over the estuary. It was getting dark when we arrived so we were not really aware of our surroundings. Wow when we woke on a clear crisp winters morning we were gobsmacked!! What a view from every angle. I think this is so far our favourite wild camp. Friendly locals walking dogs. Please respect and don't leave a trace!

LDVgirl03/09/2021Great place to stay for 1 night. Bin provided, lots of traffic during the day but almost nothing during the night. Quite sheltered due to the dunes. Amazing beach.

We stayed for 1 night absolutely stunning spot we have a 9ft van but got to the top so had amazing views of sunset. Was a little windy but we’ll worth it. No road noise was lovely & quiet. Bins at the bottom which made it clean would definitely recommend & stay again

Really lovely spot, plenty of room and great views. There’s a bin in the car park. I spent one night here. There was minimal traffic noise through the night.
