This is a brilliant, hidden, out of the way location. For those in LONGER vans - mine is 6.37M, take note. As you turn into the road it is marked as dead end - at the end is a treatment sewage works. There is fresh tarmac along the entire road. It is classed as single track but it’s reasonably wide. There is a lay by close to the end in which you can park. At the lay-by it is possible to do a 3 point turn (may be more than 3 turns!!!) but difficult. Just prior to this is a farm building - it’s the only building along here - it is VERY WIDE at that point. You are better to turn your van there and reverse to the lay by its only a 100M metres or so to reverse back. There is a busy road that runs in the distance - due to the open fields it’s perhaps more of an issue for some. I would suspect the only people using this lane are couples and people in van’s! It is not a road for boy racers, as it would be a constant thing of doing a 3 point turn due to the narrower width of the road. Good Vodafone signal. Good EE signal. The only people that have passed me here are those in a Yorkshire Water van!!! I would personally suggest you do reverse into the lay-by than be faced with leaving in the middle of the night in a hurry facing the wrong way and trying to turn in the dark. This is a brilliant spot.
