A few hours after we parked here 2 more vans parked alongside us. Soon after that the hotel proprietor came to tell us (very politely) that the parking is private and we could stay the night but he was expecting buses of tourists at 8am and wanted us to move first thing. We decided to go 100m up the road to a lay-by and had a good night’s sleep there. Of course, no buses arrived in the morning..!
Abbiamo sostato anche la notte per visitare il Santuario. Notte molto fresca e tranquilla. C'erano altri camper in sosta. Possibilità di scendere al Santuario a piedi o con la navetta. Nessun servizio.
This is the entrance for the bus to the Santuario and the starting point if you want to walk there (which you should). Also a Lot of tourists buses park here with visitors. Therefore quite much trafic during the day but plenty of space and quiet after the closure of the Santuary at 19.00
