By the sea, you have to cross the shore at low tide. we did not sleep there but 2 nasturtiums were parked there and obviously not for a single night.

This island is predominantly a conservation island suitable for day trips only. Do not annoy the locals or farmers by parking up over night. Be respectful of the notification’s posted throughout the island. The police or Ranger will move you or be fined!

Beautiful location, Omey Island WAW. N.B. No Over Night Parking by order of the local government EU Habitats regulations laws. Which are notified at the entrance to this beautiful Island. The open lands known as commonage are privately owned. Locals may politely ask you to leave or call the Gardai/police or park ranger to enforce the EU Habitats regulations on their private property.

fantastic spot for a day, unfortunately not for night. theoreticaly dogs on the line but no-one seems to care. there is a side road to the beach with no signs about camping so you should be OK room for one van not leveled perfectly but not too bad.

There are no camping signs all over the island, they look new. looks like it was a beautiful spot before though (Visit January 22)
