Stayed here 7th March. Great location with a lovely partial view over Derwentwater. Even better for doing Catbells! Would be conscious you can easily get blocked in by other people parking here.
Petit coin en retrait, place pour quelques vans, bien abrité et belle vue. aucun signe ni restriction.
Small set back spot, room for a few vans, well sheltered and great veiw. no signs or restriction.
Kleiner zurückgesetzter Platz, Platz für ein paar Vans, gut geschützt und tolle Aussicht. keine Zeichen oder Einschränkung.
Esquina pequeña empotrada, espacio para algunas camionetas, bien resguardada y hermosa vista. sin señales ni restricciones.
Piccolo angolo incassato, spazio per pochi furgoni, ben riparato e bella vista. nessun segno o restrizione.
Kleine inbouwhoek, plaats voor enkele busjes, goed beschut en mooi uitzicht. geen tekenen of beperkingen.

Parked our LWB here with lots of rooms to spare. we parked late in the evening and was amazed by the veiws in the morning. however, narrow windey roads on approach. helps to be a confident driver
kmck199630/01/2024Stayed end of Jan, tucked back, managed to get our LWB Ducato comfortably in there with room for a van next to us. Slightly sloped at the back but not a problem and views were amazing. Was not disturbed and can walk up to Cat Bells from here.

stunning spot. it is slightly off road and uneven. but take a walk in front to the lake and the views are breathtaking wow. can be busy with hikers and got quieter at night

Great views and access to lake and Cat Bells walk. Spot wasn’t completely level and very busy - lots of vans turned up after us looking for a spot but was full (only space for 2 really, plus a few cars squeezing in where possible). Sadly smelled quite unpleasant and lots of toilet paper when we visited, not bad enough to not stay there though given the location and views.

Awesome views. Not level. Great for a short stopover and for walks in the hills.

Phone signal on 3 and a lovely view down to Derwent. Room for 2 small cars and it's pretty muddy on the level spot near to the rocks. It's right next to the main trails for the popular Catbells so expect it to be busy early. I was woken by hikers pulling in while still dark chatting loudly, but that's what you get for parking next to a trail. There are a few parking spots on this road.

Stayed here overnight, 2 cars went passed in the night and another van next door. Space for three vans and well sheltered by cliffs on three sides. 4G signal allowing for streaming. If it's a west blowing wind it does blow straight in.

Incredible spot, an absolute must if you can get there first.. brilliant views, well sheltered by surrounding cliffs and enough spots for 3 campers. highly recommend

Good little spot set back from road was another car and small van but still roomy.
