(DG8 8JB) Burrowhead Holiday Village

Really disappointed with this site, cost £38 with electric hook up and the dog. Toilets and showers were a long walk there was nothing on our pitch area. Shop was poor, no fridge stuff and cafe menu was poor too. Showers weren’t heated so not pleasant to shower in and after all the rain overnight when we woke most of site had mini duck ponds everywhere. Stepped into a puddle when you got out your van so overall very expensive to have our heater and tv on as was only bonus. Site a bit further towards port William is smaller and looks much better.

Extrem viele Dauercamper in Mobilhomes, man fällt sehr auf und wird beobachtet. Pool nicht in Betrieb, „Café“ geschlossen, als wir da waren gab es einen Rohrbruch daher keine Dusche und WC, wir sind wieder abgereist. Der Platz hat seine beste Zeit vor 30 Jahren gehabt. Die Aussicht von manchen Plätzen ist fantastisch.

Die Lage, die Ruhe, die Ausstattung.. es gibt hier einfach nichts dran auszusetzen. wer Erholung sucht, wird hier fündig werden. 20 GBP pro Nacht ohne Strom.

What an amazing place the site has a lot to offer definitely a place we will be going back to amazing views 3 adults 3 kids traveling in our campervan using this app we found this site. Definitely a place to visit to see the best views the swc has to offer.
