Beautiful place to park overnight for £10. Unfortunate that we had inconsiderate neighbours in vans sliding doors regularly and leaving engine idling until 12:30am

  • 4/5

Amazing walk to the nearby castle ruins. I didn't stay overnight as it was so windy but nothing saying you can't. £10 fee by machine for 24 hours stay. There are some bins, but no other facilities.

  • 4/5

£10 per night, max stay 24 hours. No return for 72 hours.

  • 4/5

I categorically refuse to pay anywhere I stop, as I already pay road tax. I stayed here for free, as always. Nice views I suppose. If you're into your illuminati families, this is the castle for you.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for one night. Felt safe as two young girls. Lots of space and there were a few campers as well as us. Big bins. No honesty box and machine wasn't working. Surprised how close you are to the castle, had a lovely walk in the morning to the castle. Very quiet and peaceful. Long road to get here, bit rough but worth it.

  • 4/5

Lovely, quiet carpark. Felt very safe and lovely walk down to see the castle. The pay machine wasn't working and no honesty box. Amazing views and not too windy

  • 1/5

  • 5/5

Pay as much as you want for this amazing site. Incredible views and a short walk to the castle.

  • 4/5

Recomendable.

  • 5/5

What an amazing place to stay. very quiet even though there was another half a dozen vans here. A lovely walk down to the ruined castle with stunning sea view.

  • 5/5

Nice place to stay overnight. Surprisingly it has very good signal for internet connection.

  • 4/5

A beautiful view of the sea, lighthouse and farmland. You can stay 24 hours for £10, payable card or cash on a machine. It was quiet but very exposed to wind!!

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Stayed here one night. Quiet night on a Friday.

  • 2/5

  • 4/5

Mega ruhig und viel Platz. 5£ würden unserer Meinung auch ausreichend sein.

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet stop. Was a little busy when we arrived on the evening but most had left by 8 ish leaving a few overnight campers. Clean and peaceful. Lovely little picnic area and just less then a mile to the castle which is worth a look around. Fab stop over on N500 route.

  • 5/5

Perfect spot for the night with great views of castle Sinclair and the lighthouse. invitation of £10 for overnight parking. Couple locals turned up between 7–10pm but didn’t bother us.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 12/10/22 council ticket machine £10 motorhome for 24hours great spot with light house and Sinclair castle no facilities but 4g phone signal and great tv signal

  • 5/5

Sheltered quiet spot. Good for the dogs since it's an end of road area and no sheep. Also handy for local walks. Luckily for us we parked up and there was a beautiful rainbow over the lighthouse. It seems to be a £5 overnight charge so I wonder if it's because we're out of season now.

  • 5/5

Good level pitch’s,you can now pay the £10 charge by card. Beautiful sunset over the castle ruins. Plenty of space.

  • 5/5

great place to park for the night super quiet with only one other person here. the castle views and beach are amazing definitely make sure you explore before leaving

  • 2/5

They have now (June 2022) put a bag covering the honesty box and the gate to this site is closed. However, there is a car park right next door which is allowing Motorhomes overnight stopover stay, only up to 24 hours, but pay £5/10 to stay on flat spot. Relatively full of motorhomes due to castle sightseeing spot.

  • 4/5

10£ for campers, 5£ for cars. This is not a honesty box anymore but a real paid parking. Great spot for the views and close to the castle. However, fellow campers told us to be careful because they saw people checking the campers, knocking and seeing if they were empty. They stayed like an hour and finally left around 11pm.

  • 5/5

stayed here last night, £5 for 24 hrs, flat parking, several other car and vans here too, easy access, amazing walks and views, good signal, will definitely stop again, farmer does check you by a ticket so don't ignore. bins to empty your rubbish.

Great overnight spot. Now has a pay meter which is £5 for 24h.... We are here in May 2022, and parking was easy. Could be busy in summer. Steve & Lozzie

  • 5/5

No longer allowed to park in the field. But now you can stay up to 24 hours in the car park at the top. Not as isolated, but still okay. Our second visit, last time had great stay in the field.

  • 5/5

Great little carpark on the top of Noss Head, next to Castle Sinclair. We stayed one night and saw beautiful stars as no light pollution. There is a invitation to pay parking meter (honesty box), which says u can stay up to 24hours for £10 in a Motorhome.

  • 3/5

We arrived here in November. The gate towards the spot was closed en that put a bag over the honisty box.

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot for wild motorhome ‘camping’ Very close to the spectacular ruins of the castle, which is one of the highlights of our trip to the Highlands. Well found, somebody !

  • 5/5

Nice spot - get there early to secure a position with sea views. £10 in honesty box but farmer came over to say hello aswell so we paid him. go over the wire fence to the right in the corner to a secluded beach/bay which is lovely for a swim. close to castle sinclair and lighthouse. peaceful night.

  • 5/5
