Bel endroit!

Right next to Swimming pool and they've created 5 hard pitches, pretty level and spaceous. They also run the local caravan park. Available all main services (drink water, empty waste - grey and chemical). Payment at pool reception, or mobile number out of hours. Great place!

Guter Platz!

Fantastic amenity, all services working well and a great stopover. It is opposite a small skatepark and we were told that recently there had been reports of electrical cables being pulled out (by way of a practical joke?) but we had absolutely no problems on a rather cold Friday night. And there's a hose there now:)

  • 5/5

Hose is no longer there so you aren't able to fill water without your own container/hose. £15 p/n or £10 for service but with no hose that's a bit steep if just dumping waste water/toilet. Ramps good if you have kids, can be noisy at times so be aware. Supposed to leave by 11am so everyone gets a fair shot but lots of ignorant Motorhomes/Campers stay for few days spoiling it for the honest ones.

Had everything needed for a self contained unit, quite spot, not much passing vehicles, just a few cars parking in swimming pool car park behind, town walkable distance, paid in pool, open till around 8pm.

  • 4/5

5 or 6 good flat spots for MH's. A short walk into the quaint, arty town for supplies. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the office at the pool was closed and didn't open until 12pm Monday, so we posted our payment through their door. Subsequently, we weren't able to get the code for the box to fill up with water, so something to be aware of if you're arriving at the weekend.

Great spot with all services. £15 now 5 spaces and the village is where the Wicker man was filmed. Couldn’t see Britt Ekland though!

  • 5/5

This is a must if you're in the area £15 for park up, (there are electric hook ups) and use of all the facilities - pool, showers, gym and Sauna and staff are lovely.

  • 4/5

They’re only allowed 3 vans in the area. Price for overnight and services is still £15. It all goes to the upkeep of the swimming pool. It’s a lovely spot, not far from the town, quiet at night. Disappointing that someone parked in a space overnight didn’t need facilities which prevented another motorhome from parking. The notice states if you don’t require a hook up to park somewhere else!

Had a quiet night here. Hard standing, nice view to the river the town is very near by. £15 for one night, grey waste, fresh water and EHU included. You can shower at the swimming pool £2. It’s extra to dump your toilet waste £4!!

Confirm all previous comment and update the info of the site. Great conditions on a very good location

Chatted with a fellow MOHome owner in town, who advised us the swimming pool stop was open and had EHU for 5 units, water and black waste. Glad we took the advice. Great stop, quiet, hard standing and plenty of park space for dog walking. £15 per night pay at swimming pool reception - pay by card. If not during opening times - money in an envelope posted through the door.

Fantastic! Water, electric and waste disposal all for £10 a night. Now has 5 spaces. Extending those to fill up water. They seem to have thought of everything. Next to swimming pool which has a cafe. Short walk from town. Views of park and river. Couldn't be better

Amazing spot. Space for 4 vans. £10 for the night, easy walk into Kirkcudbright. Stayed 12/9/22, was full by 2pm.

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Platz. Hallenbad mit Gym nebenan. Direkt an einem Park. Skaterbahn gegenüber, könnte im Sommer ev. etwas lauter sein. Alles vorhanden

  • 5/5

Excellent little spot run by the local council, has waste facilities, EHU, water, £10 payable at the local swimming pool next door. Skate park and large grass park area opposite. Just down from the marina and town. Would recommend.

  • 5/5

Great spot well worth the £10 overnight charge which includes EHU, WC & Grey waste dump & water top up! Great place for dogs big open recreation area, Riverside walks, 5 minutes walk to town centre & the added bonus of being right next too Kirkcudbright swimming pool where you can have a swim & a private hot shower for £4.50!

  • 5/5

Many thanks to the Kirkcudbright community for providing this excellent aire. We stayed one night on the aire for £10 including electricity. We then moved along to a free spot close by and used the aire services for £4 the morning after. The community run swimming pool is ace too and Kirkcudbright is a really good town to visit. The Masonic Arms is a great pub.

Excellent little Aire run by local community for charity. Nice and handy for castle, marina and town centre.

  • 5/5

Great little aire in convenient location to visit the town. Excellent value for money.

  • 5/5

A great small overnight stop. first come base. £10 for the overnight stop and £4 for tops ups and waste clean. well worth the money.

  • 5/5

Great aire. only 3 spots but can empty grey waste, elsan point and fresh water for £4. well worth it. a great place easy 5 minute walk into town

  • 3/5

Good spot but a lot of pedestrians passing and having a right nosey to see what this new facility was all about and what we were having to eat. One issue concerns me is the wood fired boiler for swimming pool and it right by the parking so with top vent open you get wood fumes. nice smell but it starts to irritate after a while. That said good place and could have score 5 not for the fumes

  • 4/5

Good wee spot skate park for kids and swimming pool basic parking buy at £10 grat value never stayed overnight but only a short walk from town

  • 5/5
