Great place to stay overnight. Far enough off the main road as to avoid traffic noise. Site is next to babbling brook. Be careful not to block parking for early morning hill walkers.

dbeukes31/10/2023Great spot as long as you’re self sufficient. Beautiful to wake up in the forest and close to a stream. I think it’s a great initiative to provide overnight stop overs like this this for motorhomes and happily paid the £7.

7£ pour rester de 18h à 10h, à quelques mètres de la route avec beaucoup de camions donc bruyants les rapides donc le bruit de l'eau qui s'ajoute. Chemin de balade au départ du parking très utilisé (voitures, vélos, randonneurs, etc...). Donc nous étions seuls sur le parking mais avec du monde qui passait. 2 tables de pique-nique et à 50m des toilettes mixtes pas très bien entretenues.

A great spot away from the loch lomond crowds. Part of the Forestry Scotland stay overnight scheme £7 for a basic car park by a sweet little river and a nice view of the cobbler. It’s not level but secluded and has WCs in the front car park. No other services and road noise from around 5.30am. And lovely walks from there down to the loch. Good but facilites lacking for the £.
CTA7804/05/2023Great wee stopover, two MHs (incl us) all night. Busy in day with walkers etc. Traffic noise dies down round 10pm, lovely walks. Clean area although a bin area in the MH parking area would be nice, couldn't find one at Visitor centre (toilets were also closed) but found some up the left hand turning as you come to the MH bit (which is on the right). Slight levelling needed. Mobile reception good.

There are some nice forestry walks around for our dog and there are some toilets, although they weren’t very clean. It is near a road so slightly noisy, although the car park it’s self was quiet. We parked up with 3 other campervans for the night

Nice enough spot to park up. Road nearby was reasonably busy, but that was because of roadworks on another road. Stream was nice to listen to overnight. Toilets were handy. Three vans in total overnighting.

Perect place for an over night in the camper, toilets, lots of space and quiet. Was free too.

Mooie plek vlakbij kabbelend riviertje. 's Nachts erg stil, maar rond 7 uur begint het drukker te worden op de aangrenzende weg. Prima toiletten op 1 minuut lopen, 24/7 open. Geen afvalbakken, neem je afval mee!

Really good spot to stay overnight. There is plenty of space and if others were more considerate with their parking then everyone would be able to get a good space.

Not a bad spot to stay overnight away from the business of Loch Lomond. Toilets on site and a few level places to camp. We got there late and were parked on a bit of a slope but not an issue for one night. Pretty quiet in terms of traffic noise, lovely trickling of stream to send you off to sleep. Not the most picturesque car park but a handy stopover as park of the Stay The Night scheme.

Overnight stays allowed under 2022 trial. Toilets onsite available 24x7 and pleasant area by stream. There is road noise from trucks on the main road.

I stayed 1 night here and there was only 1 other camper van there. There’s a bit of road noise from the lorries but it stopped overnight plus the sound of the stream distracted from it. A bonus having a public toilet on-site too. The parking is tucked out of view from anyone which was helpful as I had 2 road bikes on the roof.
