I was going to stay here overnight, but it was muddy with large potholes filled with water. Parked at the skate park a 1/4 mile along the road instead.

Très bon spot pour une nuit, agréable et nous étions seul ! Quelques personnes à promener leur chien et pas de bruit la nuit.

bertlz05/06/2023Hier haben wir eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Um 23 Uhr kam die Flut. Es ist interessant zu beobachten, wie die Flut den Fluss "hinauf" fließt. wir hatten aber keine Sorge, dass das Wasser sehr hoch steigt. Mit Rad ist Dumfries in 10 Min am Fluss entlang zu erreichen. Eigentlich ein nettes Städtchen, aber etwas heruntergekommen.

beautiful place to stay. we kept an eye on the water level at high tide because of the last comment but all good. locals reccomeneded George's fish and chips which was lovely just around the corner. portion of fish was huge. Nice walk along the river into dumfries too. the skate park parkup looked OK but this one has a lovely view

Lovely view, super quiet. However we had to move as we were informed by a local that the tide would be rising and flooding the area at 1am. So definitely check what time the tides rising before you set up for the night

joli spot en bord d'estuaire ou nous avons pu admirer le mascaret. entre 3 et 4 places . attention le vent souffle et peut se montrer bruyant. quelques jeunes du quartier semblent se réunir à proximité mais n'ont pas pose de problème. je conseille.

lovely quite spot by the river. There's an estate close by but no trouble at all. Very nice local people.

Spot for one van by slipway. Spent a quite night in early April. Level ground and good access to Dumfries by bike. Tap just along the road by Harbour. Friendly locals said occasionally young folk gather in the shelter but it’s a rare problem.
