Super spot malgré une soirée bien pluvieuse ! Le terrain était plat et avec très peu de boue. Nous étions une seule voiture. Aucun passage la nuit, quelques voitures le matin. Le petit ruisseau nous a permis de faire le plein d’eau grâce à notre gourde filtrante ! Je recommande fortement !
no parking over night. there is a campsite 50m away!
Great place for the night. We were alone. Bad point : few rubbish on the site, try to take them away even if they're not yours...
Eigentlich ein recht netter Platz direkt an einem kleinen Bach den man rauschen hört, morgens kommen jedoch einige Wanderer denen man nicht zu lange den Platz versperren sollte denke ich, wir wurden aber nicht vertrieben, Platz ziemlich uneben, solange das nicht stört super Platz für eine Nacht im Herzen des Lake District Nationalpark
Access is a little odd. Both ways appear to have a 6'6 foot width, however Google maps brought us the longer for the route to get here. Road was fine in an L2H2 though.
Great location for the little lay-by. Only van there for the night, there was also a pub nice and close.
Great little spot. We stopped here for two nights with no issues whatsoever. First night we were the only ones and then on the second night we were joined by two more campervans. Such a peaceful environment to stay in, with the little stream trickling away in the back ground. I would say that depending on where you park the ground can be uneven but other than that I would highly recommend it.
Nice quiet lay-by next to stream and a short walk down the hill to the pub. Spent an overnight here without any problems and woke up next to a babbling stream
Great little parking bay. By a stream and only a short walk to Loughrigg tarn. Beautiful tarn with footpath around it. Short drive to Ambleside. Road very quiet.
Lovely quiet road near a stream. Only a stones throw from great walks around the local tarns. Ground a little uneven but not too bad. Would recommend Chester’s by the river cafe which is just down the lane!
