Stayed last night, plenty of spaces, 6 other vans had same idea, had a decent sleep, was hoping to see the sea when I got out of the van but can’t from the car park. Really quiet safe area
Parking gratuit en bord de plage, surplombé d'appartements. Toilettes et poubelles à proximité. Toilettes publiques ouvertes en journée, il suffit de chercher "toilettes" sur google maps, biffa poubelles en bas des appartements Aurora sur la place. C'est une belle zone de sécurité, donc vous ne serez pas dérangé. Ne soyez pas tenté de vous garer sur la place ou dans l'un des autres parkings à proximité, car vous aurez une amende de stationnement. Les van lifers restent ici en hiver, peuvent être plus occupés pendant la journée / l'été. Si vous avez du mal à trouver ce parking, naviguez simplement jusqu'au "parking Swansea Point"
Free carpark by the beach, overlooked by flats. Toilets and bins nearby. Public toilet open during the day, just search “toilets” on google maps, biffa bins down the side of the Aurora apartments in the square. Its a nice safe area so you wont get any bother. Don’t be tempted to park in the square or any of the other carparks nearby, as you’ll get a parking fine. Van lifers stay here in the winter, may be busier during the day/summer. If you struggle to find this carpark, just navigate yourself to “swansea point car park”

sweetsoulsister14/11/2023Excellent placement as you’re a short walk from the beach, quiet and no bother. No immediate facilities but a public toilet a few roads away. A few nice bars and eating places nearby. Top tip if you’re getting a taxi anywhere use the nearby cafe as a pick up /drop off as they have no idea they can drive in to this bit of St Margaret’s court and will turn up in the wrong place.

OwenMisson19/09/2023Previous commenter must have been in the wrong carpark. Marina park car park is still council owned, and requires no permit or payment, and has no restrictions. Still open and still free.

Park at your own risk. There are now a lot of signs to say that it is private land and permit holders only or you could face a £100 fine. it's a shame as it looked like an ideal location.

Very peaceful nights sleep. Free overnight parking, toilets and cafe 5 minutes walk. Right next to a kids park and the sand dunes. residential area with a residents only car park so be careful to park in the furthest. no height restrictions and no signs to say no overnight parking/parking metres.
LucindaDyer22/06/2023Stayed for one night. Very peaceful, lovely walk on the beach and around the harbour. Some people taking photos of the van complaining about parking but other than that a very peaceful night sleep.

Car park right on the beach. People fishing and returning to there cars was the only disturbance we had. But not an issue

Great spot! It is just a carpark, however great location next to beach and not far from Centre. Toilets just down the road.

Difficult place to find, perhaps because the road layout has changed? Not a bad place once you get here, but twice already I've had car doors knocked against my motorhome and it's not even 21:00hrs yet! Can't say for sure whether it is deliberate or not, but not very nice all the same.

very busy carpark, but it was a Bank Holiday weekend, lots of dog walkers runner's and fishermen, had a good night, no problems.

Quiet and spacious car park right by a beach and the marina. Free to park and no restrictions. Public toilet 300 yards away (locked nighttime). Fifteen minutes walk to town. Really lovely spot.

free parking behind flats at the marina. amenities nearby including coffee shop and public toilets. a couple of steps and you’re on the beach. perfect spot if it wasn’t for boy racers arriving approx 12am until early hours. safe enough spot but too noisy for another night.
