We spent two quiet nights here. If you drive all the way down to the church and park on the last space - that's going to be the most flat spot on all the parking. All other places are quite inclined.

Great spot, the walk down to portofino is lovely too!

Free, safe and quite spot perfectly to stay a night. The view is simply incredible. Only downside: the road is quite steep, if you have a problem sleeping like this, this might not be the place for you.

Panorama bellissimo, parcheggio in pendenza. All’inizio della discesa nei pressi del semaforo allerta meteo si trova una toilette pubblica. 300/400 metri forse meno.

Très belle vue et bon emplacement. Mais attention route en pente ! Également ne pas se garer devant la petite chapelle, un bus passe pour faire demi tour. Sentier juste à côté pour allez à Portofino ??

Wirklich eine wunderschöne Aussicht, allerdings ist der Weg nach oben mit einem großen Fahrzeug sehr abenteuerlich..

Sehr schöne Aussicht bei Sonnenaufgang, der Platz war etwas schwer zu finden und man kann das Auto nur in schieflache parken. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher und die Nacht verlief bis auf ein paar Autogeräusche sehr ruhig. Moskitospray ist zwingend notwendig!

Sehr schöner Ort, wir fühlten uns sehr sicher und man ist fast alleine. Es sind nur ca. 20 Minuten nach Santa Magaritha. Und man hat einen wirklich schönen Sonnenaufgang. Kann den Stellplatz wirklich nur empfehlen. Allerdings steht man etwas in Hanglage, was uns jedoch nichts ausgemacht hat?

Sitio con estupendas vistas. Muy tranquilo. Lo unico que tiene algo de pendiente y del pueblo queda algo apartado. Pero dada la zona que es, merece la pena ir.

Sehr schöne Aussicht, relativ ruhig, einiger Camper. Kurz vor dem Wendekreis einer Einbahnstraße. Nachts waren ein paar jugendliche dort und saßen zusammen. haben und sicher gefühlt.

vue magnifique soit mais impossible de mettre le véhicule de niveau tellement la route est en pente. Nous avons passé une 'nuit très difficile, sans parler du va et vient des voitures dans l' impasse pour venir admirer la vue et la musique des clubs qu on entend , même de loin, à fuir

Point de vu magnifique. Idéal pour passer la journée ou la nuit car il y a peu de passage. C’est très facile de se rendre à Portofino à pied.

Wirklich tolle Aussicht, wenig Verkehr vor allem Nachts. Relativ abschüssig also vorher entscheiden in welcher Richtung geparkt wird. Links neben der Kapelle gibt es einen sehr praktischen Weg welcher direkt in die Stadt führt ca. 20 Minuten Bergab/Bergauf. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung nach Portofino.

Les plus : très très jolie vue, et vraiment juste à côté de la ville. Les moins : bord de la route, et un peu en pente.

Parking le long d’une route pas très fréquentée. Avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de san margarritha et Rapaello ( nous avons même pu assister aux feux d’artifice de Rapaello le matin, fête des feux d’artifice 1,2,3 juillet ).

No tuve ningún problema para dormir , había otros campistas que también dormían ahí, la única pega que portofino está abajo del todo y esto es una montaña que hay que bajar y subir , abajo todos los aparcamientos son de pago , se tarda unos 30-40 min en bajar o subir aprox

Mostly quiet except for random cars and mopeds coming now and then, stopping, leaving their engine going for a while before leaving again. Quieted down at night so we got a peaceful sleep until 6-7am. Bus goes from here so make sure to leave the turning point open. Stunning views! Parking is on a hill but if you’re early and get the first spot before the bus stop it’s almost flat.

Relativ ruhiger Stellplatz mit wunderschöner Aussicht direkt an einer Wendeplatte. Am Morgen nahm der Verkehr ziemlich zu. Die Nacht war eigentlich ruhig außer dass eine Gruppe Jugendlicher mit ihren Mopeds angefahren kam. Nach ca 20 Minuten waren sie wieder weg. Die Aussicht auf das Meer war wunderschön. Die Einheimischen waren sehr nett und freundlich. Für 1 Nacht zu empfehlen.

Access road from the sea front was narrow and very bumpy. Sloping parking but spacious. At midnight on a Monday a group of moped riders loitered outside our van making noise shortly followed by a car parking right on our bumper and people getting out waking round our van, it was not a nice or safe nights sleep. It was made up by the view and a nice walk down to Portofino. Clean WC just up the hill

Très bon spot avec vue incroyable sur l’eau et très calme le soir! Vous avez un petit chemin sur la gauche qui rejoint directement le centre de Santa Margarita. A noter : route en pente et pas de point d’eau

Decent place to park our van. We arrived around 9.30pm and there were plenty of spaces. There’s a toilet further back up the road near the big church

Très belle vue mais emplacement en pente. Nuit tranquille mais au matin, la police nous a demandé de quitter les lieux. Nous n'avons pas insisté. Direction stationnement payant à proximité de la voie ferrée pour prendre le bus direction Portifino.

ansich ein toller Platz, wie schon beschrieben. der Weg ist aufregend aber auch wir haben ihn mit einem 6m Ducato geschafft. leider war aber schon alles besetzt. es gibt aber die Straße entlang noch weitere Parkmöglichkeiten, etwas schief, aber sicherlich fürs parken und in die Stadt gehen ok. Ruhige Gegend. Maps zeigt 50 min zu Fuß nach Portofino und 30min nach Margherita.

This is a wonderful spot (well it was in a beautiful April). On the side of a quiet road, with plenty of room and amazing views. The road is on a slope but nothing that cannot be dealt with. The road up is very narrow and in places unsealed (go easy on those tires!). It does say no vehicles longer than 6m. I had no problem in my converted Vivaro. It is an easy walk to the beach and Portafino.

Très chouette vue sur la mer. Coin tranquille, seulement quelques véhicules qui viennent faire demi tour. On peut laisser le véhicule sur place et aller à pied à Portofino, ce qui est fort appréciable. Seul bémol, emplacements en pente.

One of the only places to park a campervan in /near Portofino. We sayed two nights. Great views and nice walks in close proximity. Our campervan is 7m long. Roads are a little narrow but nothing too bad. We got up to it ok.

Es buen lugar si encuentras sitio nivelado, ya que la carretera tiene mucha pendiente. El lugar es tranquilo. Muy buenas vistas

Très difficile de circuler autour de Portofino avec un camping-car. Beaucoup de routes interdites aux plus de 6m. Ce parking est accessible avec un camping-car de 6,7m, mais les rues sont très étroites, il y a des petits travaux un peu partout et quelques sueurs froides pour arriver... et repartir. Sinon, super endroit. Rare dans le coin.

Pratique pour visiter Portofino, un des seuls emplacements gratuit et autorisé pour les camping-car, par contre les places sont un peu en pente… nous avons quand même passé la nuit. Chemin de randonnée à 100m pour ce rendre à Portofino, environ 40min de marche mais avec des paysages sympathique. Accès également au village du dessous en 15min à pied.

A twisty drive up the hill to a dead end. I wouldn't recommend it at all. We have a 6.5m van

Belle vue, mais pas exceptionnel et en pente. Pas très loin un chemin commence et les bordures de ce chemin sont malheureusement pleines de déchets

Super schöner Stellplatz mit einer tollen Aussicht. Etwas schräg, nur ein bis zwei gerade Plätze.

bon endroit. attention toutefois à bien laisser libre l'entrée devant la chapelle. elle permet au bus de faire demi tour. de même, laissez libre la place devant l'arrêt de bus pour qu'il stationne. Lors de notre passage, dernier bus vers 20h, premier bus du matin 7h15. emplacement en pente, accès relativement sinueux pour s'y rendre mais reste un des rares endroits sauvages dans les alentours.

Für eine Nacht völlig okay. Auch die Aussicht ist Klasse, aber man steht auf einer Straße mit Steigung - also steht das Auto sehr schief. Es ist halt wirklich nur ein Seitenstreifen an einer ruhigen Sackgasse ganz oben auf dem Berg.

Endroit calme et nous avons trouvé une place sans problemes a 23h. La vue est magnifique au réveil. Seul inconvénient les places sont en pente.

Jolie vue, un peu de passage dans la rue en soirée. Nuit calme, il y a des toilettes à qqes mètres dans la rue. Plusieurs sentiers de randonnées. Un bel endroit pour la nuit et découvrir Portofino, dans une zone où le stationnement est difficile, surtout pour la nuit.

Belle vue, et permet une très belle balade à pied vers Portofino (la balade commence 20m plus haut à gauche). Nous avons eu pas mal de passage de voiture qui venaient profiter de la zone de demi tour en fin de soirée.

Beautiful view!! 15 minute walk to Santa Margeritha and nice little hike possible to Portofino. During the day some cars drive by and turn but at night it was quiet. Bit on a slope

Nice view (mountains and the sea) but relatively noisy in the night. You can walk down to the “beach” (small & stones) and to the city which seemed really touristic. Only stayed one night and wouldn’t stay for another - there are two lanterns so it’s not very dark and also there was weirdly much traffic during the night (and it’s a dead end so they pass you two times). Its a little uphill.

Stellplatz in Santa Margherita Ligure nicht in portofino. Der Ausblick ist super schön. Auch tagsüber kann man hier gut parken und über den schotterweg runter in die Stadt laufen. Es ist allerdings kein richtiger Parkplatz sondern einfach eine Straße die ins leere führt mit einem wendekreis wo auch ein Bus lang fahren soll. Für Camper definitiv ungeeignet und eher für kleine Vans etwas oder um sich tagsüber die Stadt anzugucken. Richtiges campieren ist hier definitiv nicht möglich .

Its a cute parking spot at the end of a street. The view is great! However you mustn‘t park in front of the bus sign or the gate at the end of the street. There are also some houses around and you‘re not gonna be alone. There is also a little path for a short walk.

Is a dead end of a road is good for small campers the road is narrow is not a parking lot.
