Haben hier eine tolle Wanderung gemacht. Mit dem Wohnmobil würde ich die Strecke zu den Steinen nicht fahren.

Parcheggio molto tranquillo in paesino minuscolo alla fine della strada per accedere ai menhir di Amendres. Scappati dal parcheggio di Evora grande ma sotto il sole e molto rumoroso.

Small parking lot of the Centro Interpretativo dos Almendres, at the edge of the small town. Quiet, off the main road but in full view of the surrounding houses, in tarmac, no parking signals or warnings. Note: stay quiet as you will be parked right at the side of a house.

Nuit au calme, plutôt plat. Toilettes accessibles uniquement quand le centre d'interprétation est ouvert!

ga naast het bezoekerscentrum staan, dan sta je niet gelijk naast de woningen. rustige nacht. in bezoekerscentrum veel info en origineel souvenirs te koop. o.a. om zelf aan de gang te gaan om te werken met leer of leuk. we gingen de volgende dag naar evora, parkeren bij continents en dan met fiets de stad in.

Wir haben eine Nacht in der Nähe vom Info-Center verbracht. Am Abend saßen die Rentner noch auf der Bank und haben sich unterhalten. Sehr freundliche Bewohner - Danke! Am Morgen sind wir bis zum 1. Stein mit dem WoMo und von dort zu Fuß. Man kann aber auch bis zum Ende fahren - es waren sogar 2 Reisebusse auf dem Parkplatz. Mit einem Fahrzeug verpasst man aber die schönen Korkeichen Wälder.

Momentan ist Besuch leider relativ sinnlos. Der Schotterweg zum Cromlech nur für PKW und Allrad noch passierbar, fast weggespült. Fuss-, Radweg 5 km mit 200 m Höhenunterschied. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Frau im Infocenter.

It's actually a rather small parking where you park on the side of someone's house. We saw the owners a couple of times and they definitely didn't seem happy to have campervans and caravans at their doorstep overnight. The toilets from town are closed, but there are WC in the tourism office from 10 to 18h. The water in the nearby fountain is not drinkable!

Schöner ruhiger Platz gegenüber des Infozentrums. Von hier kann man wunderbar zum Cromeleque laufen. Wir waren eine Nacht auf dem Platz, keine anderen Camper. In 5 Minuten Entfernung zu Fuß gibt es WC und Duschen, es war allerdings nur das Herrenbad offen.

Rustig gelegen parkeerplaats, wc´s vlak bij. Menhirs op wandelafstand. Wij zijn een beetje doorgereden tot achter de huizen bij de parkeerplaats.

Assee calme. Si voulez faire le sentier jusqu'au Cromelech (4kms), il a la taille d'une route et il y a pas mal de voiture a passer. Autant le faire en CC. Le site, sympa, ressemble a un mini Carnac.

gleich rechts vor dem zentrum ist ein grosser parkplatz, nach dem Zentrum links ist ein kleinerer platz für nur 3 womos . nach Rücksprache mit dem sehr freundlichen zentrumsmitarbeiter ist es überhaupt kein problem hier zu stehen . von hier aus ist es ganz nah zu den steinzeitlichen sehenswürdigkeiten. der platz ist ruhig. man hört nur die vögel zwitschern und ein paar hunde bellen.

Nice little parkingspace next to a play and Picknick ground. Close by (5min walking distance) is a public toilet (own toiletpaper maybe required) and a shower. There are also little Cafés with really good coffee close by!

Sitio muy tranquilo para pasar la noche. Hay pocas plazas y arboles que dan sombra. A unos 5 minutos hay unos baños publicos gratuitos con duchas abiertos 24h.

Lugar super tranquilo, uma noite bem passada. Ideal para visitar o Cromelec dos Almendres.

Local sossegado para pernoitar. Wc público muito limpo e aberto toda a noite, com duche, sem papel e sabão. A padaria que fica junto ao parque tem um bom atendimento. localizado no início do caminho para o cromeleque e menir.

Great place to stay the night-very quiet and safe. We walked to the Cromlech but it was drivable all the way. Beautiful scenery on the walk and good shower in the nearby toilets, but the interpretative centre was shut.

The toilet block in the village (opposite café) has FREE showers and they are really HOT and really POWERFUL!! Best shower I’ve had since living in the van, better than every campsite. A little old (e.g. rusty door handle) but once you are in the shower you don’t care.

Le 10.02.2020. WC du centre d'interprétation de 10h à 18h. Très calme la nuit malgré proximité du village. Plusieurs emplacements possibles autour du centre. Parking du site plus sauvage mais très peu de place, on doit vite gêner les visiteurs en voiture.

Guter Stellplatz für eine ruhige Nacht. Am besten jedoch sind die Auskünfte, die man im Informationszentrum bekommt. Die Leute dort sind mit echtem Enthusiasmus und großem Wissen bei der Sache. Sie haben es verdient, mit einem Einkauf unterstützt zu werden!

Nice place to stay for a night, short visit in the day worth. Down in the village free hot shower at public toilet building possible.

Der Platz ist jetzt 2019 am neugebauten Interpretationszentrum für die Hinkelsteine - bzw. erhält man Informationen zu allen umliegenden prähistorischen Orten der Region. Der Manager ist super nett und freundlich und spricht perfektes Englisch. Es handelt sich um ein teilprivates Informationszentrum von zwei jungen Unternehmern - mit einem Einkauf im Shop unterstützen Sie die jungen Leute die das toll organisiert haben!

Buen sitio con merenderos y sombras al pie del centro de interpretación del Cromlech de los Almendros. Recomendable.

Quiet location at the end of some houses opposite the brand new shop/centre for the stone circles which has toilets and fresh water available during its opening hours between 10am - 7pm. The people in the shop spoke English and were incredibly knowledgeable regarding the stones and it is well worth a visit before heading up to the stones. The track to the stones is battered and needs to be driven with real care as it is completely covered in potholes!

We stayed overnight and did the 8k walk in the morning, (you can get a MH up to the car park. It’s a bumpy dirt track but nothing serious.) The toilets in the cafe are clean and open at 10am. A quiet night without issue, but mind which road you take coming into the village, there are some low arches!

Excellent spot for an undisturbed night. We parked for the afternoon, walked to the Cromlech (8 kms there and back) and decided to stay for the night. Nice restaurant nearby to have some typical food. Very reasonable prices. There's also clean public toilets.

Small parking area adjacent to a private house. Had a quiet undisturbed night. Note that the stone circle is 4km further along a rough sandy track. There is a small car park at the stone circle but camping/overnight is not permitted. Large heavy vans may struggle on the sandy track.

Parking simple en bordure du village au début de la piste, pas de service mais propre. Dans le village boulangerie et café restaurant. Par respect pour les autres usagers, il serait bien que nous utilisions ce lieu plutôt que les parkings au bout de la piste qu'il faut réserver aux visiteurs.

Plutôt calme même si travaux en ce moment.

2 tables de pique-nique, une poubelle et un peu d'ombre.
