A quiet park up for 3 mohos MAX. Approach from the north if you're over 3 tonnes because of weight restrictions on NARROW bridges. VERY narrow lanes with no places to pass other vehicles.  Be able to reverse a significant distance if you do. Being locals we love to chat with considerate users, but don't spoil this place by overcrowding it or spoiling it. It will be taken away if that happens.

There’s 3 vans in here now 16:00 on 06/07/23 and it’s full. So you’re reading this and still turn up and park here you are not leaving any room for locals. Then this place goes. Find something else.

very quiet spot. few dog walkers in the evening but quiet all through the night. room for 3 vans to leave space for locals.

This is a lovely place to stop for a night. It’s pretty flat, and there is a slight road noise, but nothing to worry about. There are no bins, so please take your rubbish with you. Plus there is a small walk around the nature reserve with a few ponds on a canal.

Beautiful spot next to a canal and woods. Pitch black at night with bright stars. Narrow bridge but no real trouble getting here in our LWB Boxer. Would love to stay longer perfect peaceful and tranquil some dog walkers signal is ok on EE if you put your phone by the window no facilities - only dog poo bin stars at night, sound of running water,, lots of wildlife highly recommended

lovely spot for day parking, but GiffGaff signal not good enough for remote working unfortunately. Didn't see any no overnight signs, but could see this being the kind of place to forbid it. Road in from the west is quite narrow, which may be an issue for some, the bridge (3t max) is also a very short hump bridge, so not advisable for LWB vans. mine is 6m (Vauxhall Movano) and I just scraped over

Beautiful little stopover, very peaceful alongside canal and nature reserve. Good 4g coverage.

Lovely peaceful spot with walks through the very small nature reserve or along the canal. Small bridges from both directions - one with a weight restriction, small lanes too. We are 7.5m so it’s doable.

very quiet place, flat and easy to turn around in. Road does go over a narrow hump bridge to get there. Dog walkers arrived early morning. No signs to say you can't stay here, perfect for an overnighter. Good network coverage.

Lovely quiet park up :) nature around you. The canal is peaceful as it’s overgrown so no boats. Perfic.

Great quiet stop. Very little traffic and people. The only noise is a lonely goose calling out all night and lots of dogs barking. Nice walk along the river. Still no sign with “no overnight parking”

the no overnight signs have been ripped down at this spot as we were told by the guy from canal and river trust, he says they were removed at the begining of may. very soon to be replaced as no overnighting allowed and is enforced

Sehr schöner, ruhiger und ebener Platz am Montgomery Canal. Wir hatten keine Mitcamper. Abends kamen noch einmal Spaziergänger und morgens gab's ein nettes Gespräch mit einem netten, einheimischen älteren Herrn.

Really quiet night. We arrived at about 5pm to an empty car park. A few dog walkers came and went but by 9 we were on our own. No early morning dog walkers either. Lovely location.

Just parked up, so will add more in the morning. Beautiful quiet spot. It’s actually called Wern Claypit Nature Reserve. IMPORTANT to say that the narrow bridge in from one side (over the canal) is also deemed a ‘weak bridge’ - max weight 3T. But you can access from the other side via a slightly longer route.

A great quiet spot for an overnight, or for a walk. There's a short loop trail around the clay pits, with nice interpretive signage about wildlife and nature. Or you can walk along the canal towpath for as long as you like. We stayed one night and no one else came by. Note that the road in crossed quite a narrow bridge. The parking area itself is quite large and makes for an easy turnaround.
