Our campsite is located at the foot of Schönbühel Castle, between Melk and Aggstein on the right bank of the Danube. On an area of around 7,000 m², with beautiful old trees, every camper will find a place to relax and unwind. The campsite is located directly on the Danube cycle path and a comfortable distance from the nearest road. To ensure that your physical well-being is not neglected, there is a restaurant with an inviting terrace and a winter garden right on site. Rooms and apartments offer a spectacular view of the Danube and Schönbühel Castle. Swimming opportunities can be found right on the doorstep - adventure, culture and nature - everyone gets their money's worth here. Schönbühel is the perfect starting point for various excursions and adventures. If you want to end the evening romantically, this is also the right place. The campsite faces west and offers the most beautiful sunsets in the Wachau in the evenings. Your safety is also well taken care of, the flood protection surrounds the campsite and offers our guests maximum safety.

Bioterme resort offers guests swimming in five indoor and seven outdoor pools with thermal water - in rapid river, massage pools, a children's pool, saunas (Finnish, Turkish, infra, herbal), massages and fitness. As part of the outdoor thermal park, there is also nudist corner available in the warmer months, which is an area for sunbathing in the privacy of nature, just a few steps away from the outdoor pools of the thermal park and the hotel pool. Dogs are allowed in the RV park area and in certain glamping villas.
