Quite roadside parking just before car parks, all car parks say no overnight parking and gates that close at 8pm until 9am, there were lots of vans parked overnight in all of the car parks with no issue and gates did not close. Visit was in November, rules may be more lax than in the summer, great views over the lake and the car parks are free at the time of our visit, toilets open during the day.
We visit this carpark often and it has been completely renovated, with marked parked bays and no massive potholes anymore! Still no overnight parking but a perfect spot for paddleboarding/kayaking. We overnight on the road, next to the carpark and move onto here in the day. They do lock the carpark at night, and we have seen people being kicked off by the wardens after closing.
No overnight parking. BAD - 4/5 as this car park is usually completely rammed, people often pile on and park irresponsibly. Unfortunately, especially after a hot weekend there is LOTS of litter left. Huge potholes, careful driving on. GOOD - convenient parking if you want to swim or see Llyn Padarn. Lots of water activities available from hire places nearby.
Brilliant day parking. Pot holes so be careful but a beautiful lake where you can do water sports. 15 min walk into town.
Great daytime parkup, but signs CLEARLY state no overnight parking and that the car park is closed at night. Please don’t be “that guy” who ruins a nice daytime parkup on the water by forcing them to put height barriers up like the other two car parks here. It’s tolerated to park on the road outside at night... so just park here in the day and move to the road at 20:00. Come on... be responsible
