There are 2 or 3 bays which are perfectly flat. The access road is single track but short and also a perfect stay over if you have a dog as it offers great forest walks. Would recommend

Despite the comments, I reversed into a bay and was perfectly flat. Great spot!

attention, lieu très humide, absolument pas plat... c'est un parking bon pour laisser la voiture et aller se promener,rien de plus. le camping car installé quand nous sommes arrives etait de travers

Vraiment mal installé. on a dormi de travers à cause de la pente. donc mauvaise nuit

Sehr schöner ruhiger Platz im Wald. Drei Wanderrouten gehen von dort los. Leider sind aktuell zwei wg Sturmschäden gesperrt. Ruhige Nacht und ideal mit Hunden.

Un super endroit , pour le simple fait qu’il n’y en a aucun autre pour y dormir. Nous y sommes allés cette nuit , il y avait du monde , mais nous avons trouvé une place. C’est très calme , et le lendemain , superbe balade dans les bois à faire. Merci à la personne qui a trouvé cette endroit.

This was indeed a dark night spent here! Peaceful, quiet and we felt safe. Another camper pulled in later, with the 3rd bay free all night.

Lovely quiet, free spot. Only one other motorhome joined us for the evening in September but quite a few dog walkers turned up throughout the evening. Nice walk into the woods possible.

the steepish approach as you turn off the road is only 100m long to the 3 bays. we are on our lonesome as the temperature is more autumnal. distant road noise but bearable .

This place is so dark … we’ve not experienced a pitch black night like this for some time. Amongst the trees, the 3 designated and flat parking spots provided a silent and restful night. We were here alone and only joined by a couple of cars in the morning, in the ‘general’ parking area. Superb !

Nice walks in the forest and a quiet location. It’s worth the effort of the steepish road if you like peace and quiet, but personally wouldn’t stay here for longer than a stopover.

Access road is single track and up a steep little bend to the left off the main road, might be tricky for larger vehicles. OK in our 6.2m. 3 bays, muddy with potholes. No midges! Very quiet until forestry workers arrived around 7.30am. Good for 1 night if passing, but there's nothing much to do here, no view and no bins. Not great for solar intake but does have average 4g.

Endroit calme, 3 places à plat. Nous y avons fait étape entre Inverness et Edinburgh, facile d'accès depuis la A9.

les places ne sont pas très plates. de la boue. y'a du réseau.

Très bons emplacements individuels au calme, pas beaucoup de passages quelques randonneurs. De quoi dormir au calme, et quelques randonnées possibles.

Originally intended to stay the night but felt a bit weird being there on my own. However it's a beautiful spot in the forrest, if a bit steep. The parking spots are level though. The turn off onto the road to get here is hella steep though and I very much underestimated it and almost rolled back down! Just make sure to take that turning easy.

Nice spot with space for 3 campers. Pretty quiet although can hear a few cars passing. Lovely sound of birds and at the start of a few woodland walks.

Arrived around 5ish then started to get busy 5 in total and a roof tent here but very peaceful night. A few hiking trails near by for the dog and some mountain biking routes. Steep road turning into the track off the road A827 we recommend going past then turning round to enter, the same when leaving a left turn into the main road you can see where vans have scrapped the bottom on the tarmac.

Lovely quiet location. There are 3 designated parking bays to stay in. No signs saying no overnight staying. Suitable for vans not motor homes. We were the only ones here for the night and we had a great nights sleep!

Great spot, very calm. 3 flat spot available and many other sloppy spots.

stayed here when i was returning from the NC500 just 2 miles of the A9 theres not many spots like this, so quiet and peaceful and still free....nce again well done Scotland no signs saying no overnight stays like so many in England now days.

Relativ ruhig (ein paar Spaziergänger am frühen Abend und morgens), der mittlere Platz ist weitgehend flach, die Anfahrt war lang und teilweise sehr schmal.

Chouette endroit pour passer la nuit. Calme et entouré de forêt malgré le bruit de fond de l'autoroute. Quelques passages de promeneurs le matin. Il y a de la 4G.

Très bien ce spot et sans midges en plus ! On a même entendu une chouette pendant la nuit !

Stayed 1 night in the middle of three little bays (it seemed the flattest). Really quiet and peaceful (very distant sounds of traffic). Very steep initial turn off the A827 and then again into the car park but worth it for converted vans/campers (not motorhomes). Walking trails in the forest. Just be prepped for a fir cone or two to drop onto your roof and sound like a bullet.

Campings à proximité pleins, nous avons trouvé cet endroit. Au calme, en forêt, 3 places à peu près de niveau. Trois circuits de balade balisés. De la place pour jouer autour pour les enfants.

3 bays for levelish parking, we fitted a lwb hightop van into the middle bay, no good for bigger motorhomes. some walking routes. Full 4g on 02, not great for solar. stayed two nights with no problem's.

Only small level bays for small campers the rest is steep.

Endroit paisible. Accès en pente avec de beaux trous. Un petit camping car rentre dans la place de parking. Lieu propre, à conserver en l'état ! ;)

Stayed on 08/07/22. Quiet clean spot, there's level bays and then space up the bumpy hill part but I managed to get level. lovely and quiet, no problems. had good phone signal

great little spot. nobody else here, nice and quiet with good tracks for walking the dogs.
