Lovely lay-by in the forest, very quiet road. No facilities but good phone signal. Very slight road noise, but mainly this is masked by the sound of the river.

Very quiet all night. Good 4g signal. Slight road noise from the A road in valley in the morning but nothing to worry about.

One of the prettiest spots I’ve slept in. Flat ground. Fits max 3-4 cars in this spot. Views through forest and into the town, so a little road noise. 2x bars of 4G. Shelter from wind through tree cover.

fantastic spot. there's a place that looks similar just before you reach this one. that's probably why a previous review said pics are deceiving. they aren't, it's just as lovely as the pics and pretty damn level. this is the type of spot that makes van life superb.

Probably my favourite free spot I’ve ever woken up in! Lovely spot on a quiet road right in the middle of the forest. Yes the road is narrow but my motor home is 4x6m and I was fine ( and could even turn around using the lay-by). Don’t follow the postcode, it took me to the wrong side of the river. what a lovely place to park up! trees, rain and the sound of the river we had strong wind but wasnt a problem, public toilets less then 5mins away, a few cars and vans passed late on but no problem

Amazing stop for a night or two, right in the forest with amazing view to wake up to, there were a couple of other vans too and someone sleeping in a car. No toilets but there are some at the start of the road in the car park at betws y coed. Remember to clean up after yourselves and be respectful of locals as it would be a shame to lose this natural spot!

As described. A beautiful spot with wonderful views to wake to. Had a peaceful nights sleep and plenty of space in the lay-by. Yes the road is narrow but it does say single track with passing places on signs.

Exactly as pictures show, not too narrow at all. Perfect 4G, about a 15 min walk to the town, and spectacular views all round. The guy below is clearly reviewing one of the many “waiting points” before this lay by.

Long lay-by with beautiful view of the forest. Not far from Betws-y-coed and a variety of trails. Very quiet road had a peaceful nights sleep in the van.

Beautiful spot for small campers.... not motorhome friendly, spent a lovely evening and night in my sprinter... very tight road..
