Grande place un peu à l'écart de la rue. Belle vue sur le lac. Réception 4G. pas de service Petite crique à côté du site, baignant éventuellement sur la pente. Une route d'accès un peu cachée (attention aux gros nids de poule) vous emmène sur la place. Attention ici il y a beaucoup de clous rouillés qui traînent à certains endroits.
Big place a bit off the street. Beautiful view of the lake. 4G reception. no service Small creek next to the site, possibly bathing down on the slope. A somewhat hidden access road (beware of large potholes) takes you to the square. Be careful here there are a lot of rusty nails lying around in some places. Last motorhome to stay here got blown down the hill in April 2024 in high winds. 4 people inside. See news that was in headlines.
Großer Platz etwas abseits der Straße. Wunderschöner Blick auf den See. 4G Empfang. Kein Service. Kleiner Bach neben dem Platz eventuell Bademöglichkeit unten am Hang. Wenn ihr Zeit habt, dann schaut auch im kleinen Dorf auf der anderen Seite an. Super schön.
Über eine etwas versteckte Zufartstraße (Vorsicht große Schlaglöcher) gelangt man auf den Platz. Vorsicht hier liegen an manchen Stellen sehr viele rostige Nägel herum.

Très belle vue! Nous étions 4 véhicules mais le parking est grand. Beaucoup de Midges, comme partout.

I loved this spot! We were three camper-vans to spend the night but all alone in the morning.excellent view. Quiet during the night but the road is busy in the day .

Great spot, one other camper joined us. There was a lot of rubbish about so in the morning we took a bin bag and picked up as much as we could.
Jonnyscar06/04/2023Spacious spot, off the road. Very quiet, one other van joined us. 4G good. Beautiful views. We picked up all the rubbish that had been left by previous scruffs. Cement blocks scattered around that may have been building waste dumped. Please leave the area tidy so we can continue to enjoy these places.

Goede rustige overnachtingsplaats, geen voorzieningen wel een magnifiek uitzicht over meer en de bergen. Wel jammer dat er een hoop betonblokken liggen. Toen wij er stonden wel erg veel wind zoveel dat we het hefdak naar beneden hebben gedaan.
ccobs23/08/2022Large site, has some rubble but firm under wheel. Entrance is rather potholed, good weather you park up. Approach from West, or it is a sharp turn into the site. Found this having not being able to get into a "proper" site.

Magnifique vue sur le lac… sentiment de solitude alors que le village est peu loin. Shieldaig est un village paisible qui semble géré par la communauté des habitants. Il y fait bon vivre.
