Great stopover for the night. Quiet after 11pm. Supermarket, restaurant and pub all within walking distance.
Parking en dur de bonne taille. À côté de la route principale avec une vue imprenable sur le petit Loch Shin. Il n'y a aucun signe indiquant que le stationnement de nuit est interdit. Nous nous sommes arrêtés ici pour le déjeuner mais semble être un bon lieu d'escale
Good sized hard surfaced car park. Beside the main road with stunning views across Little Loch Shin. There are no signs to say that overnight parking is prohibited. We stopped here for lunch but looks a good stopover location
Guter Parkplatz mit fester Oberfläche. Neben der Hauptstraße mit herrlichem Blick über Little Loch Shin. Es gibt keine Schilder, die darauf hinweisen, dass das Parken über Nacht verboten ist. Wir haben hier zu Mittag gegessen, aber es sieht nach einem guten Zwischenstopp aus

wandering25/09/2023pleasant view over the Loch. somewhat reminiscent of parking on aires in French villages and being able to have a drink or a meal at the pub and a pastry from the shop in the morning. No services, but cassette etc can be serviced at the waterfall car park a few miles away.

Nice place for a stopover. We were quiet and left no trace that we had stayed there. No idea what Fiona's issue is, the miserable old harridan. The four of us contributed a considerable amount to the local economy, in the Spar, pub and The Pier. You need to look closer to home for the issues. Boy racers razzing into the carpark and three lads on bicycles doing their best to destroy the stone wall!
Ingaundlovis17/06/2023Es ist nicht unbedingt schön aber praktisch, direkt in Sichtweite ist das Wee Hoose, das kleinste Haus Schottlands. Es sind einige Häuser in der Nähe aber nicht direkt dran. Viele Mücken sind da aber durch die Straßenbeleuchtung weniger dramatisch.

This is right in the middle of the village in full view of folks houses thus not exactly subtle. Just because there's no signs saying not to park doesn't mean it's acceptable. Please consider stopping elsewhere.
