Nice quite location but large signage stating no overnight parking, 1 car was there upon our arrival but decided not to stay.
Parking des lacs de Ridley. Réserve naturelle à gravière comblée. Espace pour 10 véhicules. Aucune restriction de hauteur. Pas de poubelles/poubelles pour chiens. Accès à voie unique avec de nombreux points de passage. Très occupé par les promeneurs de chiens. Plat et nouvellement gravillonné. Les carrières de gravier locales sont en opération, donc un faible grognement continu pendant les heures de bureau et les camions se déplacent à un rythme le long de la voie. S'il vous plaît, emportez vos déchets avec vous - gardez-les bien pour tout le monde.
Ridley lakes car park. Nature reserve at filled gravel pit. Space for 10 vehicles. No height restrictions. No waste/dog bins. Single track access with many passing points. Very busy with dog walkers. Flat and newly graveled. Local gravel pits in operations so continuous low grumble during business hours. Please take your rubbish with you - keep it nice for everyone.

Sehr beschäftigt mit Hundeführern. Flach und neu geschottert. Örtliche Kiesgruben sind in Betrieb, so dass während der Bürozeiten ein andauerndes leises Rumpeln zu hören ist und Lastwagen sich in zügigem Tempo auf der Straße bewegen. Bitte nehmen Sie Ihren Müll mit – bewahren Sie ihn sicher für alle auf.
Estacionamiento de Ridley Lakes. Reserva natural de gravera rellena. Espacio para 10 vehículos. Sin restricción de altura. No hay botes de basura/contenedores para perros. Acceso de un solo carril con muchos puntos de cruce. Muy ocupado con paseadores de perros. Llano y recién gravado. Los pozos de grava locales están en funcionamiento, por lo que hay un ruido bajo continuo durante las horas de oficina. Llévate tu basura contigo, mantenla segura para todos.

MeviMeviMevi07/08/2023This was a lovely place to stop, but we recognised that motorhomes leave no space for local people to enjoy the nature reserve. It was very busy with cars and motorhomes turning up at all hours and driving away disappointed. I would have been unlikely to return even had I not seen in recent reviews that overnight parking is prohibited.

Update! Sign saying no overnight parking, see photo I was going to park here, but I found that most of the spaces were taken up by campervans. A lot of disgruntled people trying to park their cars and visit the lakes. I didn't park and add to the problem. I fear it won't belong before height barriers are introduced.

Schöner kostenloser Platz mit Schotter und ebener Fläche. Es fahren zwar Autos von und zur Kiesgrube allerdings hält sich das echt im Rahmen und stört eigentlich nicht. Kleines schönes Naturgebiet durch das man laufen darf.

le tour du lac est très agréable à faire beaucoup de joggeurs et promeneurs de chien le soir of course ... Place pour se garer avec des gravillons adresse à conserver

Wunderschöner Platz direkt am See. Hatten eine angenehme Nacht und einen entspannten morgen. Es waren noch zwei andere Camper dort.

Arrived late due to travelling, three campers already there, flat car park pea gravelled. Quiet park up, would definitely stay again! Mobile signal not great though (Vodafone)

Lovely spot to park for the evening! Lots of space for the dogs to run around! No gen/dog bins so minus a star. Constant low grumble of heavy machinery in the distance on weekdays close to 2 gravel pits. Silent at night. Busy with walkers during daylight hours. Parking for 12 vehicles, 3rd reserved for disabled drivers. Signal on 3. Please take your rubbish with you! Will be returning!

Rene3316/05/2023Parfait pour passer la nuit. Très isolé. Très calme. Réveillé le matin par les chants d'oiseaux et les caquettement des oies sauvages. Aucun problème d'accès pour un gros camping-car. Le parking n'est pas très grand. convient pour 2 camping-cars afin de laisser de la place pour les promeneurs. Au delà du parking le chemin est trop étroit et avec des branches basses.

overall very quiet and clean car park is brand new, perfectly flat not many spaces, get here later for a spot local kids seem to use it as a meet spot, but they're up and gone by 9pm overnight sleep was perfectly silent and quiet, wasn't woken by dog walkers until about 9am. No supposed issues with police as others mentioned. EE signal 2 bars 4G

Very calm place. Nice 40 minute walk around the reservoir. Only one other camper here on Easter Friday. Looks like it’s been renovated so explains why gate closed comment below. No issues with gate for me, looks like it’s always open.

Lovely spot, shared the night with two other campers. quite at night and a nice circular walk around the lake too. Nice and clean so let’s keep it that way!

Super endroit pour une nuit. Un peu de monde mais aucun bruit et environnement très agréable. Des promeneurs le matin comme un peu partout. Le petit lac est très joli. Beaucoup de bruits de canards tout au long de la nuit mais ça reste agréable ;) signal 4g dispo mais instable. Je recommande.

lovely spot to stay. car park is small but easily takes our 28ft motorhome. very clean and well laid out. down a single track road, but well worth searching out.

Wij stonden hier een nachtje. Een prachtig en rustig gebied met alleen wandelaars die voorbij komen. Enige eventuele minpuntje is dat er geen prullenbakken zijn. Mensen laten hun afval daardoor slingeren en dat is jammer. van dit prachtig gebied. Wij hebben onze afval en die van anderen meegenomen.

Toller Platz um etwas außerhalb von Oxford zu übernachten. Sehr eben & in der Natur. Viele Hindegassi Geher, aber nachts sehr ruhig. Hoffe der Gute Platz bleibt erhalten.
BobLove22/07/2022A wonderful place to park for the day or overnight. We had a peaceful night's sleep and a nice walk around the lake the next morning. Some others parked up to drink and eat around the lake, and some left litter in the car park which we took to keep the area looking good and free and welcoming for all to come!

faanfanlatulipe15/07/2022Très bel endroit ! Calme, reposant et le matin à la fraîche, quelques coureurs s’y balancent. Parking graviers, route non passante la nuit, juste à côté du lac, de quoi se faire une excursion au lever. Chiens possibles !!
