Lovely quiet spot at the bottom car park looking onto the reservoir behind Tower Knowe. Absolutely pitch black. Warden comes around through the night, so feels safe. Beautiful view in the morning. Toilet block open all night. Pay machines aren’t very clear/helpful, but you can pay at the shop the next day. £10 per night, £5 for a day pass that covers most of Keilder.

Large, quiet car park with a lovely view of reservoir. £10 for 24 hours via app (signal isn’t great though) or cash at machine/shop. £5 for a day ticket till 9pm that’s transferable to each Kielder car park.

New ticket machines taking card only, super friendly ranger helped us as couldn’t buy the stated ‘Overnight’ ticket in previous reviews but can get 24hr ticket for £15 from the machine which the ranger said was fine until 9am. Day tickets are valid at most car parks round the lake. Such a clear night and the stars were AMAZING! Car park isn’t level but it’s not too bad.

Stayed in the overflow car park. £10 over night paid via the website. Very quiet, toilets, dog friendly with places to walk them.

We had the car park to ourselves. The ranger came to see us as we arrived. You have to pay for daily parking up until 21:00, then the overnight parking tariff kicks in. Also, we bought our overnight ticket at the castle, it’s £12 up there. It’s only £10 if you buy at the machine in this car park. So total cost was £17 because we were there from about 17:00. The machines here only take coins. Only the disabled toilet was available for use. Still, awesome location.

Good parking. Booked overnight by their parking website as the machine seems to be set up just for all day parking. All details on notice board. Good dark sky site. Need ramps.

Great place to stop. Only had charges between 6 am and 5pm so we just headed off early. Toilet facilities excellent and because it was so quiet, we were able to wash privately in the baby changing room. Unfortunately, the water tap wasn’t accessible.

Just arrived and the overnight parking has been temporarily suspended. Member of staff told us they were just advised today & don't know why. Very disappointing after driving all the way here..

Ein sehr schöner ruhiger Platz direkt am Stausee. oben gibt es Toiletten und ein Café. Wer nach 17 Uhr kommt, muss aber genug Münzen für den Automaten dabei haben.
