Parking au bord de la route. Très pratique car à proximité d Inverness et au bord du loch. Très peu de passage la nuit. La circulation redémarre à partir de 6:00 et les voitures roulent assez vite.

Lovely quiet lay by. Occasional vehicles passing and no services but stunning views of the loch.

Excellent little park up. We arrived quite late so was worried there wouldn’t be a space but there was still loads of room. Lay-by would probably fit 8-10 campers depending on size. Private beach was lovely and the loch wasn’t too cold to swim in! Would definitely recommend.

Great location next to Loch Ness. Most of the side has views to the loch with no trees. Other overnight cars/vans/motorhomes and some locals fishing trouts in the loch. Not a very busy road but some fast drivers which were a bit annoying. However, no cars at night…

Nuit idéale au bord du loch ness. Les voitures roulent très vite sur cette route, mais peu voire pas de trafic la nuit. Accès direct à la plage , seul parking avec vue dégagée sur le loch! Ne pas y venir trop tard car il se remplit vite !

Bel endroit gratuit au bord de la route mais peu de passage le jour et la nuit. 6 à 7 places. Nous étions 3 c car et 3 van

Wir standen hier für eine Nacht. Super Platz, super Blick auf Loch Ness. Ein kurzer Pfad führt direkt zum Kiesstrand. Nachts wenig Verkehr

had a lunch and a break with lovely view to the lake. big stop along the road with lots of space but caravan shakes when other vehicules drive by.

Great flat spot with a view of the loch and beach access. Good place to go for a swim. Some midges, but not too bad. We had a comfy night. We collected a bit of rubbish from the beach in the morning to keep places like this open.

Super endroit sur la nuit, aménagé avec chemin vers la plage sur le Loch et table de pique nique plus haut. Beaucoup de buisson pratiques. un peu proche de la route et quelques passages très rapide surtout de jour. vue imprenable le soir et le matin.

Great place to stay overnight, the van does shake when traffic passes by but we managed to sleep through it, and it was worth it for the views of Loch Ness in the morning and access to the little pebble beach below. Beautiful!

Great spot with great views - woken up by lorries driving past from 6am but this wasn’t a problem for us as we had an early start to start the nc500

Brilliant stop for a night! As people have said, when cars drive past, it shakes the van.. but a great spot regardless! Short walk down to the pebble beach which is great and an awesome view of Loch Ness! Definitely recommend

Looks like a potentially lovely spot, but very close to the road. Whilst it didn’t seem to be a particularly busy road, some vehicles were driving it very fast when we parked up early evening, so we decided against and picked another location

Great spot with a lovely view of Loch Ness and super easy access to a small beach. This is just a lay-by off the road and so there is some road noise though this didn't cause us any issues. A ranger came round and asked that people move off the verge to prevent erosion of the grass. No issues with the overnight stay. A perfect overnight stopover before starting the NC500.

Guter Platz zum Übernachten. Mit direktem Zugang zum Wasser. Abends ist die Straße sehr ruhig.

Amazing place! We spent one night here, there were other 3 motorhomes and in the morning we went to the beach of Loch Ness. There are no services. It is on a road but it is pretty quiet.

Superbe vue sur Loch Ness et accès plage. Max 8 places pour campervans. À proximité de la route mais calme pour un samedi soir.

This is a great spot. Beautiful views across Loch Ness and very quiet at night. Traffic starts to come down the road early but it’s not a busy road. Very short footpath down to the water’s edge. Only reason for 4* is due to it being on a road and far too many drivers seem to find it funny to honk their horn as they pass regardless of the time of night.

Lots of cars drive very quickly down here, the shaking of the van is constant.

Decent size Layby for quite a few vehicles. Pulled up in the afternoon for a few hours and experienced as others have said about the van shaking as cars drive past as your not away from the road. Also slightly sloped layby. Easy access down to the loch via a little sloped path. Perfect for a refreshing swim! Signal on Three not great

stayed here 20/05/2022 . arrived at 1am. we was the only van in the layby . road was quiet that time of night. and had a good night's sleep. and woke up to beautiful views of loch Ness just meters away . pebble beached area just a few seconds away. no bins or services available so keep it tidy and keep it real. would recommend and I would stay again. this is our first stop on our NC500 adventure

Layby directly on straight main road, so passing vehicles can be loud. Covenient for Loch Ness exploring or Inverness which has plenty of facilities. Nice stony beach a short steep walk below layby. No facilities at the layby. Take your rubbish with you.

Quiet a lot of these on the side of the Loch. However cars do pass at high speeds causing vehicles to rock. Nice and dark however. Would stay again if in need. Signal for both EE and O2

Turned up around 10pm and loads of space for us. The views was amazing to wake up to and perfect for area for us ti start our NC500 journey. Just be careful you go down B852 along the coast line and not up towards the farm which is where the postcode took us. Overall amazing location!

Great little place to stop with lovely views of Loch Ness. Close to road but few cars at night. One of my favourite stops.

Great place to stop, room for 4 or 5 motorhomes. If the 1st layby is full you've got at least 2 more opportunities further along, each the same length with access to the Loch. BEWARE the Sat Nav tho, keep right as the road splits in Dores to stay alongside the Loch. The sat nav postcode takes you up the hill to a farm.

Great place to stay before you start the NC500. short path to the pebble beach with epic views of Loch Ness take your BBQ !

Polled up at 8pm. plenty of room to park and great views right next to Loch Ness. Would recommend for a ride side stop.

Great spot if you're in a motorhome. We slept there in a camper van with a pop top roof. The lay-by is very close to the road with cars travelling past at high speed. This shook the van each time and was very noisy. Apart from that the views are stunning Just take some earplugs and you'll be fine.

Great spot to park. Scenic views of Loch Ness. Really quiet road through the night. 1 minute walk to pebble beach. no services or bins.

Fantastic view of the Loch. We parked up with 4 other campers already there. Very quiet and has a path down to the Loch where a group was having a fire. Also good for a swim in the morning!

Beautiful spot with access to Lochness. Sadly bad O2 signal, but if you walk down the shore there are a few decent signal spots.

Great spot! We only stopped to cook breakfast but easily parked with plenty of room. Amazing views and very easy access to the pebble beach at the bottom. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Lovely spot, with a really short walk down to the water. We weren’t on level ground so slightly leaning all night, but didn’t cause too much of a problem!

Small lay-by enough for about 3 vans on side of the road with pebble beach the other side which is great for bqq whilst watching for Nessie. Downside was being so close to road when cars go past van rocks luckily road was quite so only happens every now and again

Stayed overnight 5th June 2021. Stunning location on the shore of Loch Ness. There were 3 other vans overnight and probably room for one more. Some traffic passes but it’s not over busy.

We stopped in the layby with the picnic benches and access to a small pebbled beach. Great little spot but it can be a bit unsettling when larger vehicles pass by at speed, causing the van to rock. Reasonably quiet night as it's not a particularly busy road.

Very quiet road. Several parking bays. We chose the first one but there are other further down which are better and included picnic benches and a path the beach. Great views. Good option for the area.

Good sport for a night's sleep, was abit too open to the main road for our liking and traffic going past quite fast rocking the van each time. Space for 3 vans. Lovely walk with the dog in the morning though along the edge of the Loch.

Stayed our first night here before starting the nc500. Very quiet road. Right on the loch. No facilities but great for a little stay over.

Stay a couples of night, great spot lovely view, other campers staying there too . No bins but find some a bit further in the village.definitely recommend.

Great views of the loch. No bins available and unfortunately did see quite a bit of litter. Fast road so you will get woken early.

Nous y avons pas passé la nuit mais mangé. Mais c'est un joli coin pour, tout près du lac, il y a même un petit chemin tout près pour descendre au pied du lac.

Superbe lieu, mais anti-migdets recommandé pour prendre l’apéro dehors. Présences de moutons sur la route et chants d’oiseaux.

Effectivement, magnifique vue sur le Loch Ness. Les voitures qui passent à proximité passent assez vite. Prudence!
