Camping Tomaj. Very nice ACSI camp site on Lake Ballaton with direct access to their beach. A real Hungarian campsite that differs with the other touristy campsites of the lake. Very nice welcome in English or German. Camping with rentals of pretty cottages. Cheap little restaurant on site. Pedalo or canoe rentals. 700 m from the village of Badacsonytomaj. Very calm. Free WIFI. You can pay in Euro.In pre-over-seasone you can park in front of entrance .. Space for motorhome. 4 campers .. No purpose, just for sleaping over night.

Imbiss am Strandzugang, Strand leider NICHT für Hunde erlaubt. Viel Grün, parken auch im Schatten möglich. Grillplätze und Pavillons auf dem Gelände. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr vor Ort. Die Toiletten und Duschen sind ordentlich und sauber. Strom und Wasser vorhanden.

Sehr schöner Platz mit sehr viel Grün. Ausreichend Schattenplätze vorhanden. Preislich ist der Platz unterteilt in Kat.A,B,C. Je nach Geldbeutel. Imbiss ist am Wasser vorhanden. Sanitäreinrichtungen gut. Wir sind angenehm überrascht.

Direct acces to the lake is very nice but camping itself is very busy & crowded. Very expensive at €28 per night for two adults, one camper + electricity. Not worth its money.

Sencillo camping con escaso acceso al lago. Aunque se puede coger agua y vaciar el WC, no son instalaciones adecuadas. Lo peor: 10400 HUF por una noche sin electricidad, dos personas y un perro, me parece muy caro. Además un perro paga lo mismo que un adulto: 2000 HUF, a lo que añaden tasas de pernocta.

We are Motorhome travellers. Nice camping ground. Clean facilities. Pleasant staff who spoke English. Chemical toilet and Fresh water tap up at the Toilet block but the grey waster is further away from reception and it’s a Green coloured square manhole cover that is too heavy for the women to lift so be warned ladies!!

Parfait pour se poser pour la nuit et recharger les batteries. Pour attirer la sympathie des hongrois, essayez de leur parler en hongrois même si vous vous débrouillez mal, vous verrez ça marche bien! Il y a une petite plage privée qui donne sur le balaton. Sympa pour un bain de minuit sans sortir du camping. Passage du train à proximité mais perso ça ne m’empêche pas de dormir.

Very nice, shady camping but wifi was not working in every part of the camping, for example at the spot where we were parking. The camping has an expensive bufet, where we got diarrhea and the bufetlady sometimes tries to give back less money than expected, so pay attention. The water is nice and the swimming opportunities are great. Just avoid the bufet.

Sehr Empfehlenswert. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da und fanden den Campingplatz super schön und chillig.

Accueil sympathique à la réception en anglais mais pas à l'entrée du camping. Sanitaires pas très propres et parfois défectueux. Camping bruyant à cause de la ligne de train, le voisinage n'était pas vraiment respectueux mais ça impossible de prévoir à l'avance. Il y a un snack dans le camping, la sympathie du gérant laisse à désirer. Ils acceptent les euros c'est déjà pas mal.
