(DT2 8ZB) Dorchester - Monterey Ave

just about to leave. very quiet and peacefull. lovely night sleep.

Perfect spot out the way a little, only 15 minutes from durdle door. Wasn’t disturbed at all, only a few noises from the surrounding businesses in the morning, overall a great spot!

Nice car park. Fairly quiet although will be some lorries in the morning going to the electrical works. Also wasn’t flooded when many of the surrounding roads where.

No restrictions yet, no services, 5min drive away from shops, 10 min drive away from the tank museum :), quiet. On the three nights I stayed (left during the day time) I had a few vans join me. Heard the occasional train horn up untill 11:30.

Alternative zur steilen Hanglage in West Lulworth - einfacher, gerader Parkplatz ohne Mülleimer. Vereinzelte Laternen und Nähe zur Polizei geben ein gutes Sicherheitsgefühl

We drove passed this lovely spot, but only just. Luckily we had to stop at the gated entrance to an industrial estate and the friedly chap inside a little hut at the gate informed us that the motorhome spot was just opposite, behind some trees.

Ein super Parkplatz zum Übernachten, er war eben und es war in der Nacht ruhig. Nur zum Empfehlen!!! Einziges Manko ist, dass es aktuell noch keinen Mülleimer dort gibt. Das tat dem Platz aber keinen Abbruch. Sehr gerne wieder.

Bel emplacement, nuit tranquille. Du passage sur le matin uniquement.

A great little find! They are building a new Police Headquarters next door so I imagine it won’t be here long! Very quiet - Saturday night and we are by ourselves! Dogs love the freedom! Unfortunately, previously, people have been and left a rubbish bag in the trees, such a shame!

Secure place to stay in an area with very few options. As it's right outside the Police headquarters, we felt safe, but could clearly hear what we assumed was their gun range throughout the night. It didn't keep us up, and while safe, we couldn't 5 star for that reason. Would stay again

Personne d’autre que moi ; à l’entrée d’une zone protégée (type militaire avec une guérite à proximité) c’est assez calme ormi beaucoup de corbeaux à mon passage qui faisait, de jour, beaucoup de bruit. J’ai pu entendre quelques trains passer.

Nice and quiet. Looks like an overflow carpark with enough space for around 20 cars. We were the only ones there. No signs, no height barriers, free. No stunning views so only 4 stars. Would stay again.
