Excellent spot to park for the night, slept really well and wasn't disturbed all night. Dog walkers arrived at 11 once the rain stopped. Adjacent road has speed bumps so any cars pass slowly. Pretty muddy in places with potholes of water. Walk along the canal was great, nice and peaceful. Wholeheartedly recommend!
A great spot. Quiet, calm, and very dark overnight. Stayed 2 nights. No services. 4G on Vodafone a bit patchy.
Great secluded spot for the night. There is a barrier at road access but it was not lowered and no signage regarding overnight stays. Slight road noise from distant A-roads that died down. Absolutely no disturbance from others through the night. Dog walkers arrive about 8am. No facilities so please leave no trace.
Schöner Platz. Zur Info: Donnerstags ab ca. 08:30 Uhr trifft sich hier eine Hundegruppe, um Mantrailing zu üben. Das heißt: viele Hunde und viele Autos.
Buen sitio para pasar la noche y al día siguiente ir a Stonehenge, está a 30min en coche. La noche fue muy tranquila y para los amantes de las estrellas, se podían ver muchas. Solo hay una papelera. A primera hora venía gente a pasear con perros.
plenty distance off the road,reasonably flat for non tarmac parking area. speed bumps all the way up the lane adjacent to the spot up to the main car park (no overnight) so no boy racer concerns. space for 8 vans max if parked tidy.
