Peaceful night sleep, a 5 minute drive from the ferry port. perfect for an early morning ferry. there were other cans in the car park.

Overnight stay, quiet and peaceful enough. More campers there when we arrived so wasn’t on our own. Close to the ferry terminals and a McDonald’s for a pre ferry breakfast.

Slept here the night before an early ferry. Quiet, other campers here and felt safe. Would recommend. Free from 6pm - 8am. Is next to the health centre on the right-hand side of the one way street.

Klasse Tipp! Wir kamen tagsüber, zahlten £3,20 für zwei Stunden und tranken um die Ecke noch einen Kaffee vor der Fähre. Auch um die Mittagszeit viele Plätze frei.

Parking calme, idéal pour une nuit avant d’embarquer sur le ferry. Belle petite église à deux pas. En revanche, nous n’avons pas trouvé les toilettes publiques. Poubelle sur place mais pas d’autre service. Ça dépanne bien et c’est gratuit !

It’s a great spot if you’re taking an early ferry or if you’re arriving late. I’ve been here twice and there were always other campers there. It wasn’t quiet until around midnight, what with campers arriving/ walking their dogs etc. Good internet, street lamps, not quite level but acceptable. Gratis until 8 am

Parking quite level and free between 18.00 and 08.00. Easy acces from A road. Plenty of space. Ideal stop for a night to catch an early Ferry. Some local guys hanging around in the park and some street noise but not unsafe. Several campervans spending the night here so you’re not alone. Supermarket and KFC nearby.

Great free park up just a few minutes drive from the ferry port. Very quiet night until the seagulls wake at dawn, then you seriously do need earplugs! It's our second visit, would highly recommend if catching the ferry.

Parking très bien positionné pour le départ en ferry. Assez bruyant. Rien d’exceptionnel. Places en pente et assez étroites pour les gros gabarits.

parking proche du centre ville , dimanche... 10 camping- cars de présents. Par contre ville très calme le dimanche soir. peu de restaurants ouverts, les seuls sont des take away...

Great for overnight before/after ferry. Nearby Fried chicken takeaway pretty decent. Unfortunately had to park outwith space lines to allow motorhomes either side to open their doors.

Nice sized car park to stay without worrying. A few youths hanging around but no bother. No parking charges Sunday daytime.

Parking idéalement situé car proche du terminal du ferry cependant compliqué de se garer en arrivant a 23:00. J’adore le bruit des mouettes (c’est mieux que d’entendre des camions passer au ras du camping-car) , on se sent déjà en vacances.

Would be a 5 star if only for the very noisy seagulls but handy for an alarm for an early ferry. No overnight fee. Felt safe as there were lots of other campers.

Grazie a park for night abbiamo trovato questo parcheggio e confermo tutto quello che è stato scritto il posto c'era Era tranquillo ed è gratuito tra le sei di sera e le 8:00 della mattina e si può pagare sia con le monete che con il cellulare o le carte

Arrived after 6 lots of spaces. Had a peaceful nights sleep ready for early ferry . Would definitely stay here again.

Certes, c’est un parking banal, sans services (WC fermés en ce mois de juillet 2023 ou alors on n’a pas trouvé les bons). Mais gratuit, plutôt calme la nuit et très pratique pour sa proximité avec le terminal de ferries. Pas mal d’autres vans, fourgons ou camping-cars étaient d’ailleurs stationnés mais il restait de la place pour les arrivées tardives. Un bon plan.

Quiet, with only seagulls making a bit of racket in the morning. Few campers and motorhomes about. It's convinent for the early morning ferry.

There loads of motorhomes here seems safe this car park is behind a police station and there shops and take away food 2 minutes walk

Arrived 2am and left early to catch a ferry, this spot was perfect. There were plenty of parking spots and it was easy to find. It is a 10 minute drive to the ferry. Very loud seagulls though!

Haben hier eine Nacht vor der Fährfahrt geschlafen. Schön war es nicht, aber kostenlos und viele Stellplätze. Flugzeuglärm und schreiende Möwen inklusive, aber ok für eine Nacht.

Netter Parkplatz, kleiner Park nebenan, schöne Häuser drum herum. Nicht so gut geeignet für große Wohnmobile (6,5m). Wir haben deshalb für den Tag zwei Tickets gezogen (standen auf 1 1/2 Parkplätzen). Über Nacht viele Wohnmobile aber sehr ruhig und kostenlos über Nacht.

perfect for one night before the ferry. free from 6pm till 8pm. lots of other motorhomes there so doesn't feel unsafe at all. Morrisons a 5 min walk down the road also.

Good for one night before the ferry, quite a few other motorhomes around. Only issue was no toilet could be found nearby and a bird that sounded like a squeaky dog toy until dark.

Time wasters screeching tires of their cars near our motorhome with loud music in the evening and seagulls singing all night, i advise the use of earplugs. You can park your motorhome here occupying two bays but as described in the official dover council website you shall buy two tickets. free overnight (from 6pm to 9am).

Don’t park your motorhome during the day! We got fined for parking beyond the markings. Even though we paid for 4 hours parking

Great place for 1 night, free parking from 8pm - 6am, a minute away from the ferry. Enough level ground, other campers. Would recommend if your looking for free safe parking.

Haben hier 2x für die Fähre übernachtet. Die angeblichen Toiletten haben wir nicht gefunden, aber es ist alles in ein paar Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Mit anderen Campern hier ruhig gestanden und gut geschlafen.

As everyone said great stop over for the ferry. Arrived around 11.30 plenty of space. Had a bad experience as a car pulled up at 2am and blasted music so loud till 2.30am and the odd boy racer but it was the weekend. Would stay again for convenience and closeness to the ferry terminal

Wie schon oft zu or geschrieben: super Parkplatz, um am nächsten Tag die Fähre zu nehmen. Abends waren noch einige Leute (Jugendliche?) auf dem Parkplatz unterwegs, aber in der Nacht war es ruhig. Die Toiletten haben wir leider nicht gefunden..

Confirmation des avis précédents : excellent arrêt pour la nuit afin de prendre le ferry le lendemain. Nous aurions mis 5 étoiles mais quelques jeunes énervés et un peu de rodéo voitures mais calme à partir de 21h. Nombreux campings cars et vans donc sentiment de sécurité. Attention au temps de passage frontière nous avons presque raté notre ferry en se présentant pourtant 1h avant le départ.

Update: parken ist jetzt noch zwischen 18 und 8 Uhr gebührenfrei. Für uns der beste Platz in Dover um die Nacht vor der Überfahrt zu verbringen.

Spent a quiet peaceful night before catching the early ferry. Arrived late but there were spaces available, other campers parked there too.

Great place for an overnight stop before the ferry. Free to park and we've always arrived after 11pm and still found a space. some places a bit wonky but mostly level. feel safe and plenty of other motorhomers parked up. Not the quietest place but wouldn't expect it to be.

Easy to find, there were only two other vans in the car park. Plenty of spaces. We stayed here before getting the ferry to Calais. The car park started getting busy around 8.30am. We would certainly park again. We love this app!!

Great little spot. Flat ground. Easy to find. Free overnight until 9am. For morning coffee and great breakfast (and toilet), try White Cliffs cafe only 100m away. Opens at 8am.

Slept really well here, very quiet considering it's location. There were a few young people around early in the evening but they were fine. Really close to some great eateries too.

Bylo by to vyborne misto na prespani pred rannim trajektem, kdyby tu mladez nedelala hlucnou diskoteku z aut. Spat se v tom nedalo, museli jsme ujet a prespali jsme v nejake ulici do 4h rano, pak jsme odjeli na trajekt.

Kostenloser Platz zwischen 18 Uhr und 9 Uhr. Es ist schon ein wenig Betrieb aber man ist auch sehr im Zentrum der Stadt. Toilette war entweder zu oder nicht zu finden. Es war aber auch schon nach 20 Uhr als wir ankamen.

Free and flat parking overnight. Many other RVs and a few campers. Fine for early morning ferry access, otherwise I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here- street lights and sound disturbed my sleep.

Nice place to park except for a bunch of guys racing in and out with their cars and loud music. They came back in the morning at 6. If you want to stay best to park away from the day center where those types are hanging out.

il posto è buono, ampio e in piano. Un gruppo di ragazzi ha fatto un po' di schiamazzi ma sono andati via prima di mezzanotte. Il problema grosso per me sono i gabbiani, che fanno un sacco di casino in continuazione. Io ho il sonno leggero e mi hanno tenuto sveglio buona parte della notte.

We stayed free from 2am-9am before getting the ferry. Lots of other campers when we arrived but no problem finding a flat(ish) space. Gulls were the only noise.

Some late evening noise from locals gathering. Gulls seem to be a constant. Free from 18:00-09:00. £1.60 ph outside of that. Regularly see 5-10 vans overnight here, now Temple Erwell is restricted

I stood here after arriving with the late ferry. A lot of campers were already there. The night was quite good. Not too noisy. There were a lot of seagulls though. I liked the sound. Only one loud car arrived. Shut of his sound system pretty soon and left peacefully. Would stay again here. Maybe when I go back on the ferry.

Quiet apart from the sound of seagulls. No boy racers but then it was mid-week and tipping it down. Very convenient for an early ferry. Many vans and motor homes stayed overnight.

Stayed for one evening whilst getting a very early ferry the next day. Few campers, a lorry, a coach and some boy racers. Not really that quiet. It’s a car park at the end of the day. Definitely better places to stay.

Emplacement parfait, à proximité du ferry! Nuit très calme, même le samedi soir. Nous étions 6 camping-car au total à dormir sur place, nous nous sentions en sécurité, la ville est très calme. Je recommande fortement ce parking!

Nach der Fährüberfahrt um Mitternacht auf dem Parkplatz angekommen, war ich ganz alleine dort, aber fühlte mich sehr sicher. Zudem sehr ruhig bis um 9.00 Uhr wi ich los bin. Und das noch gratis.

excellent spot to get ya head down for the ferry. walking distance to all amenities and only 3 minutes to ferry port, free and quiet at night, what more could you ask for?!

Excellent. Stayed here overnight - Little bit noisy in the morning was the only negative. Free parking on a Sunday.

Pulled in here to wait for a few hours in the evening before our ferry but didn't stick around due to some very intimidating groups of men shouting, drinking and driving around in circles - almost crashing into our van. We aren't bothered by boy racers usually but this place was very creepy and uncomfortable.

Useful for stopover but seems to be a local youths meeting place. Noisy for a few hours with a car playing loud music all helped to make it a little unpleasant.

Kostenloser Parkplatz und ohne Stau ist man in ein paar Minuten am Hafen. In der Nacht waren viele zwielichtige Gestalten unterwegs aber unter den anderen Campern haben wir uns relativ sicher gefühlt.

Good to wait for the ferry, free between 17pm and 9am but homeless and drunk people around the area. No public toilets close by, the next in walking distance are closing in the early evening.

Very convenient for ferry, basic car park but fine for a night. Number of homeless camping and drinkers around and noisy until 1pm but caused no hassle.

Für eine Nacht ganz in Ordnung. Toiletten gibt es definitiv nicht mehr. Sind erst abends angekommen. Am darauf folgenden Tag Dover besichtigt und dann auf die Fähre. Diese ist in wenigen Minuten vom Parkplatz aus erreichbar. Für uns war es somit perfekt.

Great place to stay for the night. Felt very safe as it is right behind the police station. No public toilets available any longer. Very close to local shops. Would highly recommend if you need a free space to stay overnight. Also spoke to the parking warden and he confirmed free parking for motorhome from 5pm-9am.

Il semble que dormir n'est pas permis, le 18 août tous ceux qui dormait dans leur véhicule ont récolté un procès verbal, nous nous étions réveillé de bonne heure à cause du ferry nous l'avons pas eu

Hard standing car park close to main road but not too loud. As a place to park up in the evening for free before grabbing a ferry its great, pretty it is not. Perfect for our purposes though. There IS a sign that says no overnight camping...

Dover gave us a really bad vibe. lots of drunks around and boy racers. didn't stay at this one. although you can.

NO aparcar Autocaravanas aquí, multan con 70£, a mi me la han puesto, a pesar de pagar ticket como autobús para evitar problemas, 1,80£ la hora.
