Stayed in the village on a campsite but on check out fancied a big walk and some lunch so parked up in the camper. gorgeous views of the beach and the Ski Bar is great for food and drinks right next to this. No overnight stay signs which is understandable! Would recommend for a pit stop and a big walk.

Free parking, good location, I’m only dropping a star because the road to and from it is ridiculously bumpy, pot holes everywhere.

Sadly Haverigg has become unfriendly to motorhomers no overnight parking signs up .

Fresh new signs saying no overnight camping. There’s is a camp site right next to it, probably why!

Great spot close to the beach and RSPB nature reserve, great view of Black Sail inland. Quiet at night. Just a shame people can't take there litter home with them.

Stayed 2 nights, plenty of movement in the morning with local dog walkers, night time very quiet...this is a great spot for wild camping and scenery

Have stayed here a few times. Never been bothered by anyone and the police keep an eye out for you if they see you.

DO NOT walk on sand out to sea. Signs saying quick sand and soft areas! Good ice cream van in car park.

Stayed here two nights, one of which was Bank Holiday and good weather but still easy to get a spot. Both nights were quiet and safe, with several other vans also overnighting. Not a particularly attractive village but toilets and a supermarket in short walking distance. When the sea is out it's a long way!
