The mountain of “Serra da Estrela” is part of a national park, and some times the weather may change very fast. This place is like a bad weather shelter. It has a big wall on the back towards the mountain and the rest is open, but it has a cover over it. This makes a place to park and sleep with no wind and no rain noice. It is a good place to park, (to avoid the noice of the rain) when is raining, or bad weather, because it has a cover with 6m height. The park is free and It has a paid swimming pool in the summer over it. In winter it is super quiet. Not bad for 1 night. It has free wc in the park, next to the lake under the waterfall. There is one bar and one restaurant next to it. Not a superb place but it is ok. Next to the road to the train station, so some cars may be passing by. Free WiFi, of the park, but it does not work very great.

This is a very good place to park, if you are going to stay for one day. If it's bad Weather you can park under the Swimming Pool and sleep without noise. If it is sunny try to park on the too park of the park. The entrance to the toop part is trought the bus bus terminal, the botton part is easy see the picture. As WC free in the park ad as cafe, a restaurant and one bar.
