Kallerö in Kallriga nature reserve
A beautiful and exciting coastal landscape meets you as you reach the killer island, Kallerö, adjacent to the southern parts of Kallriga Nature Reserve. In the shallow Kallrigi river with its many small coves, lots of birds are enjoying themselves. Along the beaches, animals breed on flowery beach meadows.
Walk the 1 km long path from the parking lot, past the view on Länsmansberget, down to the rest stop at the seabed and further onto Harudden. At the seabed you can watch the big ashes that grow along the beach. Outside the Harudden is a bird tower from where you have a nice view of the Kallrigafjärden.
You can also wander the 400m long ladder from Kallerö harbor, out to the barbecue area on the cliffs at Margret's oceans. Use the wood from the storage area, make a fire and enjoy the sea view.
birds
During the floating season, a large amount of sea birds are racking in Kallrigafjärden. An early spring morning there are plenty of ducks, geese and swans. Take the binoculars and follow the ladder down to the old seabed or to the Harudden bird tower.
The Kallriga nature reserve also has plenty of sea ears. If you're lucky, you'll see several more at once.
Paddle
Cold Warfare is a groundwater storm. There are some small islands but later the sea is open north and east to Gräsö. Here is a good way to paddle, but you have to look out for stones and grounds. It is good to put the kayak at Kallerö. Keep in mind that some of the area is bird protected between 15/7 and 15/10.
An einem kleinen Bootsanleger ist Wiese auf der ausdrücklich Allemannsrecht erlaubt ist. Im Sommer gut gefüllt mit Wohnmobilen und Wohnwagen. 2 Holztische mit Bänken stehen zur Verfügung. Ansonsten gibt es nichts als Wald und Wasser.

Weroni11/09/2023Beautiful, calm, peaceful and clean place. Shared for one night with few other campers, but everyone was so nice :) dry toilet is clean equipped with books. Compared to the other places - almost no mosquitoes (morning and evening a bit more, but no tragedy)
NicoleSeifert30/08/2023Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht mit sehr vielen Mücken:-) Platz war aber sehr schön, haben vorne auf dem Schotter geparkt, da es geregnet hatte und uns das Risiko zu hoch war, uns fest zu fahren.

Stayed here several times, beautiful place by the water, dry toilet and rubbish disposal. It does get very busy as it is unbelievablely free to stay here. Be prepared for ‘spirit fest’ pensioners drinking too much in the evening and loud v75 horse racing on the tv in the morning. Flat ground and good internet, could also be good for winter camping before the snow comes.

Schöner Ort. wenn keine Dienstleistungen benötigt werden ists perfekt. Boden ist etwas uneben und ggf muss man etwas schauen bis man einen geraden Spot gefunden hat.

Absolutelly a fantastic place to spend a night, if your lucky you might see some Eagles. Calm and friendly with all campers. Dry bin and garbage.

Schöner ruhiger Platz, den man auch gut erreichen konnte. Plumsklo ist vorhanden und die Gegend läd zum Erkunden ein.

Ein super Platz. Mülltonne, WC vorhanden. Angeln möglich. Sehr ruhig und waren freundlich auf dem Platz. Den Platz kann man empfehlen.

muberlin06/08/2022Man ist hier nicht allein, aber ein sehr schöner Platz. Mit uns waren ca. 10 Wohnmobile da, aber es gab genug Möglichkeiten, mit viel Abstand zu anderen zu stehen . Toller Blick aufs Wasser, gute Gelegenheit zu paddeln, baden oder zum SUBen! Es gibt auch mehrere kleine Wanderwege und ca. 200 Meter entfernt eine Feuerstelle direkt am Wasser, nach weiteren 200 Meter ein lost place, wunderschön

Op zich een mooie plek met mogelijkheid tot korte wandelingen in de natuur, maar enigszins overbevolkt toen wij er waren op 19 juli. Er overnachten meer dan 20 voertuigen (caravans, mobile homes, tenten en auto’s.) Ook plaats om bootjes in het water te laten.
navenerudi20/07/2022We went there, it’s a nice place but mostly for RVs/ Camper vans. We’re on the road with our tent and then left because it didn’t feel right to build it up. It was too crowded. Access to the water was quite tricky.

Superfint !! Stor gräsyta att står på, med havet runt om. Finns dessutom torrdass som är fräscht och allt går under allemansrätten och är gratis. Det finns även ett naturreservat på gång avstånd.

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Ort. Wir waren am 23.6.22 dort, mit weiteren 17 Mobilen. Nebenan ist ein schöner Zugang zum Wasser in welchem man schwimmen kann. Das Plumsklo war recht geruchsintensiv.

Large clear grass parking area right beside water. Very busy with around 10 other campers but plenty of space. The breeze kept the mosquitos away - unless you ventured into forest or down beside lake then they attacked in swarms! Great place for spotting wild birds eagles/terms/geese/swans/ducks/hawks.

Amazing place on the water with huge green field. A lot of animals and great people. The weekend can get crowded but doesnt feel bad at all. The weekdays maybe 3-5camper in total. Worth to stay for a couple days. Benches are provided too.

Wunderschöner Platz mit toller Aussicht. Wir hatten super Wetter und konnten die Meeresbrise genießen. Es war tatsächlich auch bei uns sehr voll, mit 18 anderen Campern standen wir hier.

Abgeschieden und Nachts ruhig. Tagsüber ist ganz schön Betrieb durch die Slipanlage, Badegäste und Bootsbesitzer. Im Sommer gut gefüllt mit Wohnmobilen und Wohnwagen. Definitiv nicht einsam.
