Notte molto tranquilla passata in compagnia di un altro van. Ampio parcheggio illuminato con una bella vista sulla costa e l’entroterra, è presente un bar/ristorante ( credo con bagni ), bidoni della spazzatura e zona Wifi gratuita all’esterno di un negozio di artigianato. Punto di partenza di diversi sentieri. Di giorno abbastanza frequentato.

Absolutely stunning place! It’s a big parking lot with spaces for caravans as well, stunning views all around. it’s so very quiete, I was here alone and stayed couple of nights. During the day bit busy as its turisty spot, but at 8PM everything was already empty .

I stayed in one of the two motorcaravan spaces on the small side...just to avoid problems. A bit windy, sure, but excellent views, cute and friendly food truck open on the hillside, cafe closed on Saturdays.

Cela doit être un bel endroit mais malchance avec le temps : brouillard, pluie et vent. J’y ai bien dormi quand même et il y a des poubelles. Pas de réseau. Montée raide

Bel endroit calme le soir sans aucun service. 2 places réservées aux camping-cars mais celles d’à côté sont possible. La montée à partir de Monchique est raide mais facile. Les 2 magasins d’artisanat local à proximité sont à découvrir

This is a giant and flat parking lot on top of the highest point in the Algarve. It is lighted at night. We arrived after dark and felt very safe camping there. Great access to hiking trails. It was really foggy and windy at night.

Denkt bitte daran, dass es nur 2 (!!!) Parkplätze für Wohnmobile gibt. Die GNR kontrolliert.

Wir waren bei Regenwetter hier. Deswegen keine Weitsicht. Parkfläche für fast 150 Autos.

Toller Sonnenuntergang und Sonnenaufgang - schöner Blick auf die Küsten. In der Nacht sehr ruhig (wir waren komplett allein), allerdings stehen direkt neben den Parkplätzen leider ungefähr 20 Sendemasten, Funkmasten und Radaranlagen. Der tolle Weitblick lässt aber so einiges verzeihen (bzw. gibt es dafür einen Extra-Stern).

Bijzondere plek voor een overnachting. We hebben hier genoten van een mooie zonsondergang. Goed restaurant , overheerlijke cake, en prima foodtruck, tot 19.00 uur. Parkeren gratis, geen voorzieningen.

Nous y avons passé une super nuit. Le coucher de soleil était magnifique. Endroit calme et propre avec un food truck qui ferme à 19h. Super point de vue.

I stayed the night here without any problems. However it can get very windy up here! my van was moving a lot and the wind was loud, I didn't get a great night of rest but i guess that depends on the day. Great view though! the restaurant close by opens quite late (i think 10am). I was hoping to go for a coffee in the morning and use the toilet but was too late for me.

All alone on the top of the mountain. 40-50 parkings. All night all day free. Amazing view. I stood all alone the whole night. Might me a hidden spot ;)

Schöne Parkplatt, tolle Aussicht, nette Atmosphäre, ruhig, Café und Toiletten ab 10 Uhr, 4G Empfang.

Parfait spot pour dormir! Je vous conseil le sunrise et le sunset vraiment magnifique. Il peut y avoir beaucoup de vent..Et le parking est légèrement en pente, mais pas gênant pour y dormir. Petit foodtruck avec vue qui a l’air sympa.

Si vous cherchez la tranquillité pour la nuit, c’est le top! Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de toilettes publiques étant donné le nombre de visiteurs en journée (magasins expo artisanale). Nous avons fait la balade des cascades, jolie vue sur la côte ouest mais de l’eau à une seule cascade...

Stayed for 1 night. Much colder than seaside of course, and more wind. But the views make up for this. You can find the best coffee bar at Algarve up here (small food truck). Tip: watch the sunset on the little road opposite of the seaside view. It's amazing!

Grand parking avec beaucoup de possibilités de stationnement. Belles vues sur toute la côte de l'Algarve. Exposé au vent. 4 étoiles à cause de la propreté des buissons avoisinants les parking... dommage.

geweldige uitzicht en een zeer rustige nacht op wat wind na. Volgende ochtend 50 meter zicht en een hele kleine wereld.

Nous y avons passé une nuit début novembre. Attention, les routes pour accéder au parking sont raides, peu larges et sinueuses, les emprunter de nuit était un peu stressant. La vue là-haut est magnifique au réveil. Le parking est super calme, malgré la visite d'ânes et de vaches pendant la nuit et le matin. Énormément de vent pendant la nuit

Heerlijk rustige plek om te overnachten, we stonden er midden oktober alleen. Enige nadeel zijn de grote lantarenpalen, daarom zijn we op het onverharde gedeelte naast de officieele camperplek gaan staan.

Eine grandiose Sicht um den Berg herum. Wir standen alleine und ohne Probleme. 2 Stellplätze für AC . In der Nacht bekamen wir Besuch von einer Herde Wildpferde und Eseln .Direkt an den Fenstern des AC .Respektiert sie und ihr habt ein intensives Gefühl für die Natur.

Super schöne Aussicht, totale Stille. Wenn man seine Ruhe und keine anderen Leute um sich rum haben möchte ist man hier genau richtig. Nur ein paar Kühe mit Glocke laufen hier rum. Wir haben dort noch eine Nacht verbracht. GNR ist an uns vorbei gefahren ohne was zu sagen.

Nuit au calme avec une superbe vue. Parking autorisé avec panneau, 2 places matérialisées mais possible pour 3 ou 4 en partageant !

Beautiful location. You’re quite exposed so on a windy day you’ll feel it. No services. X3 Motorhome parking spaces but the car park is huge and at this time of year very quiet, so you could utilise the coach and car parking spaces. Easy enough road up, we managed fine in our 7.5mtr Motorhome. We walked to Monchique and back from here, there are also other tracks you can take.

Cisza, spokój, piękne widoki. Dobry dojazd. Spędziliśmy tu jedną noc.

Stopped twice up here in last month. 2 of us first time, 5 last night. Great stop. goods walks.

Adorei! Fiquei 2 noites, sossegado, com uma vista panorâmica linda e com vários trilhos ao seu redor

Só a vista já merece equacionar este lugar!! não têm serviços, mas é sossegado, com espaço e pareceu me seguro! sem dúvida que aconselho! talvez em dias de muito vento não seja tão aconselhável, mas fora isso vale mesmo muito a pena pela vista!

Fantastisch uitzicht.Wij zijn snel weer naar beneden gegaan,heel druk en windkracht 10.camper stond te schudden.

Parking dont places pour camping-car au sommet du mont. Pas de services. Vue magnifique. Départs de nombreuses balades. Source pour remplir des bouteilles juste avant d'arriver au sommet.

Sehr ruhiger Platz um zu übernachten. (kein Durchgangsverkehr) Bei klarem Wetter hat tolle Aussichten in Richtung Norden zu den Bergen und in Richtung Süden über die Algarve bis hin zum Atlantik.

Superbe spot pour passer la nuit et profiter du coucher du soleil, calme pas de circulation. Très bien pour faire des balades, plusieurs plans de randonnée et au retour faire le plein d'eau à la source.

Toujours aussi agréable. Loin de la foule...

Excellent, venteux, nuit bercée au calme

A flat, paved area with marked bays specifically for autocaravans. GNR passed by once. We stayed the night, very quiet and felt safe. Bins nearby, toilets in shop accessible with key provided by shopkeeper. Amazing views, we completed the 2 hour P3 walking route which was great but quite challenging!

Stayed here one night in December, one other Motorhome present. Lots of lighting, we were lucky as NO wind at all. Very quiet and great views if not hazy. Lots of masts and Ariel’s giving off waves of some sort, could not set alarm due to them setting it off. Cafe bar does good snacks but only open in daylight. Walks not so good at present due to fire damage.Be aware the radio waves, microwaves and whatever else given off up there MAY affect a susceptible persons electrical heart system. Partner admitted into Portimão Hospital next day for 24hrs. May be something maybe nothing.

Route 266-3 empruntée par les bus de préférence de jour sinueuse et de basse montagne. Parking plat spacieux toilettes à la boutique des artisans à l'arrière de la chapelle et magasin Saint Antonio. Une aide aux artisans incendie est bienvenue. Bar-restaurant magnifique, point de vue sur la Serra de Monchique.

Super, tranquille toute la nuit, désert à souhait. Des balades tout autour avec des vues magnifiques. Grande boutique d’artisanat mais attention, ils ne prennent pas la CB. Merci Bakebeen

You must use the main road from Monchique, which is used by Large 45 seater coaches to take tourists to the mountain top, trying to use other smaller roads is not smart for any van over 5 meters as "Trouy" below as pointed out

Ce n'est vraiment pas une bonne idée avec un camping-car, petite route de montagne très étroite pour arriver sur un parking désert, loin de tout, à éviter même si la vue s'étend sur toute la région.

Bel emplacement dominant offrant de merveilleux panoramas. L'endroit est exposé aux vents très fréquents. Nous n'y avons pas couché mais il semble que ce soit possible à l'arrière des commerces puisqu'un panneau "Autocaravanes" est positionné à l'entrée de la zone.

Bel emplacement (un peu isolé..). On ne peut pas y dormir, la police est très matinale et est peu sympa !!
