Please do not stay here. The car park is small and there are no camping signs up. Toilets are closed due to Covid restrictions. People camping here are causing a lot of problems with locals
Harlaw Reservoir parking au pied des collines de Pentland. Occupé pendant la journée avec des marcheurs, des cyclistes et des coureurs. Il peut y avoir des adolescents locaux qui montent, mais ils sont inoffensifs et disparaissent généralement à 23 heures. Soyez respectueux. Ne voulez pas encourager les barrières de hauteur ici;) Ne laissez aucune trace. Interdit de rester la nuit
Harlaw Reservoir parking lot at the foot of the Pentland Hills. Busy during the day with walkers, cyclists and runners. There may be local teenagers coming up, but they are harmless and usually disappear at 11 p.m. Be respectful. Do not want to encourage the height barriers here;) Do not leave any traces. Forbidden to stay at night
Parkplatz Harlaw Reservoir am Fuße der Pentland Hills. Tagsüber belebt mit Wanderern, Radfahrern und Läufern. Es können lokale Teenager auftauchen, aber sie sind harmlos und verschwinden normalerweise um 23 Uhr. Sei höflich. Ich möchte hier keine Höhenbarrieren fördern ;) Hinterlasse keine Spuren. Verboten, die Nacht zu bleiben

PierrickM.27/01/2020Ok for one night close to the city. This place is so busy until late and peole came back early morning to walk their dogs even in winter time. Night is quiet but defenitly not the best spot to have a good rest.
blechkothe10/10/2019Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht, allerdings kommen schon ab 6:30 die ersten um mit ihren Hunden zu laufen. und es sind viele dir kommen, ab 8 Uhr ist der Parkplatz dauerhaft voll! wer also einen unverträglichen Hund hat ist hier falsch!!! die Hunde laufen zu 98% frei und werden auch nicht abgerufen wenn andere an der Leine sind!

Wir wurden am nächsten morgen weggeschickt, Übernachtung ist hier nicht gewünscht, schade, so ein toller Platz!

Super parking sans aucun bruits en plein milieu de la campagne et idéal pour dormir pas loin d'Édimbourg. Beaucoup de randonneurs et de locaux vont aux lacs à côté du parking, discrétion et propreté de rigueur.

El fin de semana muy masificado, mucha gente va a hacer rutas y pasear los perros. Pasamos unas noche y nos marchamos pronto por la mañana ya que llegaban muchísimos coches.

Super coin pour passer la nuit. Promenade a proximité. Une contribution de 2pounds est recommandé pour maintenir ce lieu tel qu'il est. Soyez respectueux de ce coin.

El sitio es muy bonito, hay lavabo en el centro de información y ahí pudimos vaciar las aguas negras. El parking es pequeño para autocaravanas y hay ramas de los árboles muy bajas. Llegamos sobre las 8pm y estaba lleno porque hay mucha gente paseando a sus perros, esperamos 10min a que se vaciara un poco para poder aparcar bien. Luego llegaron coches de jóvenes que pusieron música hasta las 12.

Bonito sitio a las afueras de Edimburgo rodeado de naturaleza y sendas para caminar, hay mucho movimiento de gente por el día que va ha hacer deporte o pasear, por la mañana debido a esto movimiento de coches, pero el sitio es tranquilo por las noches y muy bonito si se desea se puede hacer una aportación de 2 libras al parque las plazas no son muy grandes esta al final de una carretera sin salida
