Parking très calme mais plutôt inégale. Probablement plus adapté aux fourgons qu'aux camping-cars.

Parking where dogwalkers Park to reach fields. very quiet but rather uneven surface. probably more suited to vans than motorhomes.

Parkplatz sehr ruhig aber eher uneben. Wahrscheinlich eher für Vans als Wohnmobile geeignet.

Vergiss diesen Platz! Völlig schräg und steinig- grosse Gefahr sich einen Platten zu fahren! 500 Meter weiter auf der selben Straßenseite ist ein viel besserer Platz!

Very nice place near the woods, a bit uneven surface. Good internet on 3. Locals told me that park rangers planning to make it no overnight parking. Many dog walkers

Great little spot, very handy for Kendal. Surface was no problem in a SWB Ducato, and there's certainly no chance of getting bogged in! A bit of road noise, but then people are having to accelerate up the hill. A quiet night as the only van, listening to the lapwings. 4G on Vodafone.

Like driving on the moon!! Very quiet through night.. got here late on, only us and one van

Absolutely superb views unfortunately this place is virtually inaccessible. Very rough, very sloping, very unmade. Shame really because those views !!!!!

Great views and a few flatish spots. Very quiet after the last dog walkers left by 22:00, and until about 07:00. I agree a large van or one with low ground clearance would struggle. Good walks and 5 minutes from a supermarket. The other, flatter car park round the corner was much busier. Only van overnight in this one.

Found only 1 small spot where is was flat. couple of dog walkers and runners in the evening, super quiet and the road wasn't disturbing us at all

Great views and our three antenna got strong signal. Rocky and uneven ground but much quieter van wise than the one up the hill. A couple of relatively flat spots but challenging to maneuver. Our 1 neighbour warned us about lots of morning dog walkers near the start of the trail so parked the other side of the car park. We were right next to the road and weren't disturbed by the road noise.

Amazing views. But, only two spaces that are relatively level. Very rocky parking area, if your vehicle is low, don’t risk it. Very quiet. Some dog walkers come and go. Great 4G signal.

Stay in the one just round the corner, so much better. very bumpy and uneven ground conditions in this one.

its a free hard space but very slopey. literally 1 minute round the corner is gthe amazing one

Quite the challenge getting level here as others have said. We just about managed but it did split our levelling block. We stayed here instead of the better one down the road so we had 4G on Three and EE. Don't seem to get O2 signal though.

Very uneven , rough and sloping area to park.

  • 3/5

We stayed here last night and we were the only van. Whilst the car park is very uneven, it is in a fab location with a wood and footpath right next to it, so perfect for people with dogs, especially as the field is enclosed. The only negative is that the road is busy and very noisy.

Although it's a lovely view, the sloping, uneven, rocky limestone surface isn't good to park on. The other car park close by is much better despite no view.
