Excellente nuit passée au calme. Nous avons préférés ici plutôt que le parking de Scott-view car il est un peu plus en retrait de la route et plus abrité. Le parking était un peu sale, on a ramené les poubelles des autres…
Parking pour aller voir le Wallace statue très impressionnante. En pleine nature et très tranquille.

Viscacha23/07/2023Middle of British summer, so cold, wet and a bit windy and yet this spot is shaded from the worst by trees on the steep hill. Rough gravel and mud from the forestry the site is slightly sloping but so quiet after 9pm. Absolutely no facilities at all so take rubbish with you please.

Ook wij zijn van Scott’s view naar hier gereden vermits het daar een komen en gaan is van jongeren , ook savonds. Deze parking is super kalm en rustig en hadden een zeer rustige nacht. Stonden met nog een andere camper.
DomiZettner16/06/2023Keine Mülleimer, super für eine Nacht. Haben uns die Statue angeschaut. dahinter führt ein kleiner Wanderweg ins Dorf zum Tempel der Musen und Dryburgh Abbey. Straße war nachts quasi gar nicht befahren. Sind 6,5 Meter lang, das war grenzwertig

lovely little spot to park up and centre of some lovely border villages. can stay 24h no bins. so please take rubbish along to Scott's view 2 big bins and a toilet there.

Arrived here about 9.30pm and were the only ones all night so very peaceful and incredibly quiet. (We’d moved down from Scott’s View which was crowded with the local youth who weren’t noisy but just there!) Parked in the almost flat spot next to the 2 disabled bays.

Wundervoll abgelegen, direkt an einem schönen Waldrand. Leider kamen abends ein paar junge Leute, die etwas laut waren. Die fuhren aber wieder weg. Wir konnten nicht gerade stehen. Super Handyempfang.

Nous étions seuls. Belle nuit au calme. Au petit matin rencontre avec un cavalier écossais très sympathique.

It is a good spot if you park in the right side, near the disabled spots. Otherwise, in the left side the ground isn’t flat, not comfortable for sleeping. The place is quiet, in a nice area

Leider ist hier aktuell eine große unschöne Baustelle… wir haben nur eine kurze Pause gemacht und sind dann weiter gefahren.

Road on way up has seen better days but a beautiful remote spot. Few dog walkers in morning. Room for 6 vans and a lovely forest walk through the gates. A few spaces will be on a slope but manageable for a night or two.

Great little place for an overnight stop, there was 2 or 3 walkers parking up around 9:30pm but we were completely alone from around 10pm (must have been a quick walk!). Felt totally safe and perfect for overnight, there is nothing here like bins or toilets etc but the woods are right next to the car park, very little traffic I think we saw 2 cars from 10pm onwards, 2 disabled bays and 4 cycle spots.

Nice free little park up way off the main road with a good footpath through the woods for walking the dog
VanlifeForever02/06/2018Stayed here for 2 nights. Quiet. Close to Wallace statue. Had a police sign saying area is prone to thieves (see pic), had no problems ourselves but just keep that in mind.

Parfait nous y avons passé une nuit bien au calme en dehors du cri charmant du faisan (mais on adore la nature) avec un beau chemin de balade vers l'immense statue de Wallace, que nous n'aurions pas vu sans park4night, très bien

Parking très tranquille et joli, avec une belle vue et touristiquement intéressant !
