Stayed overnight 22/11 very very quiet, village shop and 2 pubs with no one in but safe enough for one night
Village centre parking adjacent à des snack-bars, des pubs et des restaurants. Parking gratuit, pas de service mais les toilettes locales sont ouvertes 24h/24h. Bon emplacement calme dans le plus haut village des Highlands. Kocal Saumon pêche, marche et vélo.

Parkplatz im Dorfzentrum neben Snackbars, Kneipen und Restaurants. Kostenlose Parkplätze, kein Service, aber die örtlichen Toiletten sind rund um die Uhr geöffnet. Gute ruhige Lage im höchstgelegenen Dorf der Highlands. Kocal-Lachsangeln, Wandern und Radfahren.

SallynRay03/09/2023Handy, quiet spot in the middle of the village. Clean and tidy public toilets next door. Cafe also right next to the car park. Short walk to pub, restaurants and village shop.

Praktische parkeerplaats midden in dorp. Toiletten aanwezig (met warm en koud water). Geen drinkwater! Pub, tearoom, restaurant en wat winkeltjes aanwezig. Wij zijn later naar de Parkeerplaats aan de rand van het dorp gegaan. Had meer sfeer.
FloMannyNomads21/07/2023Parking super pratique au centre du village, près de tout et avec des WC (très propres) juste à côté. On peut se garer en reculant et on ne dépasse pas. On y a passé 2 nuits au moment des Highland games et on était aux premières loges pour les fanfares de cornemuses. Merci à Tomintoul de nous recevoir aussi bien !
JuanJLanero12/10/2022Muy tranquilo para pasar la noche. Y baño a 30m del parking. Si no necesitas hacer ningún mantenimiento puede ser un buen lugar si vienes un poco cansado.

Great little free spot with public toilets and drinking water. Right in the centre of this lovely town - the drive to get to is amazingly beautiful. Bins available. Remember to donate to the upkeep of the toilets - that’s all they ask. Recommend :)

Parked here as the dark skies car park down the road was a sheet of ice. Quiet, level, with clean community-run toilets open all night. Easy walk to the dark skies site, pubs and a shop also, if needed. Left a decent donation for the community loos.

Lovely little village, cracking little whisky shop(save your pennies boys). The public toilets are a great bonus but please consider a generous donation. The location is spot on for the local amenities. My only negative would be that the local pubs don't sell cask ales out of season. I would return. Also consider the bowling club around the corner with toilets and electric.

Highest village in the highlands. lovely village stop off, toilets are donations with hot and cold water but not for drinking. village also had an excellent Whiskey and highland Gin shop.
maxundine11/04/2019Wir haben an einem Regentag rast gemach. Man hat zwar keinen Ausblick, aber dafür sind die Toiletten sehr sauber und es ist ruhig.
