Spaces are way to tight for larger motorhomes. If the carpark is busy and a large motorhome either side of you you’d struggle to get out. It’s a poor location considering the huge carpark next door. As they say it’s the thought that counts, unfortunately there just hasn’t been enough invested in this.
4 motorhome places in car park A, which is the first one you come to if you've turned right along Greenwell Rd from Bondgate Without. Another post had said the dedicated motorhome places were in car park D, but part of that one is being dug up, but fortunately got into the places in car park A. 3 hours max, and we did see a warden checking discs.
Car park will take 8m motorhome. Get parking disc from the play house.
The parking is tight and only good for 3 hours, not 4, but it is very convenient to visit the castle or gardens and free (just need the white disk). If you need to move your camper there’s several lots that are the same just past it
Parked in one of the camper spots. Great car park to visit town and castle etc... Need a £1 parking disc - shops that sell are listed or vending machine in D section of car park further down road. Max 4 hours. Great councils are providing camper spaces even if just during the day. (Don't understand 1 star reviews as no overnight - this isn't listed as overnight. It literally says day parking lot)
Parked here to eat fish and chips. Now has 4 large bays for bigger motorhomes.
Greenwell road car park. spaces for motor homes only Apr-October. Need to buy a disc for £1 that you can reuse-gives 3 hours parking in this car park. Disc sold in local shops not in castle or car park!

Wir haben hier im September 2018 gut und Kostenlos übernachtet. Offiziell ist es hier verboten deshalb sollte man spät ankommen und sich wieder früh morgens auf den Weg machen.
It does not say no overnight parking but does say no sleeping and cooking. No motorhome spots but did have bus parking

Ce parking est parfait pour visiter le château et passer la journée à Alnwick mais interdiction de cuisiner et dormir !
En la entrada hay un cartel con las normas y específica no dormir, no cocinar y no camping. Sí que hay 4 plazas para motorhomes y un máximo de estacionamiento de 3horas.
I don't remember if the same is true for the camper space. I don't think so
