Attention à l'entrée pour les véhicules bas et attention aux branches pour ceux qui ont des panneaux solaires. Nous avons préféré dormir 1km plus bas sur une aire assez grande, plate, ombragée et moins rocheuse.
En venant de Fornazzo sur la droite parking pour la grotta del neve. Au fond derrière des arbres 2 emplacements assez grand pour des Van. Très calme. Propre. Plutôt plat. trèd belle vue sur le versant Est de l'Etna. Peu de passage sur la route la nuit. Aucune voiture sur le parking même début août.
Coming from Fornazzo on the right parking lot for the grotta del neve. At the back behind trees 2 places large enough for Van. Very calm. Clean. Rather flat. trèd beautiful view on the eastern slope of Etna. Little traffic on the road at night. No car in the parking lot even in early August.
Von Fornazzo kommend auf dem richtigen Parkplatz für die Grotta del Neve. Hinten hinter Bäumen 2 Plätze groß genug für Van. Sehr ruhig. Sauber. Eher flach. Schöne Aussicht auf den Osthang des Ätna. Nachts wenig Verkehr auf der Straße. Selbst Anfang August kein Auto auf dem Parkplatz.
Provenendo da Fornazzo sul parcheggio giusto per la grotta del neve. Sul retro dietro gli alberi 2 posti abbastanza grandi per Van. Molto calmo. Pulito. Piuttosto piatto. bellissima vista sul versante orientale dell'Etna. Poco traffico sulla strada di notte. Nessuna macchina nel parcheggio anche all'inizio di agosto.

We enjoyed a quite night a 6m van. It’s a leveled place with lots of space. During the day there are lots of jeeps, for people visiting the cave. It’s often very steep to drive there from the motorway to that place, but most streets are quite wide, so it’s not to difficult to get there. There is also a parking place a little further up the road (2km) for visiting Monti Satorius.

Stayed for one night after hiking close to Etna. Really enjoyed this place - nice view, trees around, clean, sheep. There is a new fence keeps you from parking under the trees (like on the photos). Even though we could use those trees for our hammock. Annoying motorcycles till darkness and a lot of visitors of the cave during day (at least on Saturday evening and on Sundays).

Wonderful place with nice view to the Etna and stars in the night! We can really recommend to stay here, very clean, calm in the night!
Florentb30/07/2019Très joli spot mais on ne peut plus s'enfoncer sous les arbres comme sur la photo. Le parking est maintenant clôturé. Il subsiste une petite place mi ombre en rentrant a gauche. En journée des 4x4 d'excursion menant des groupes à la grotte s'enchaînent. Ça n'est pas très gênant et ça se tasse en milieu d'après midi. Belle vue sur l'Etna

Super spot mais impossible de manger le soir et le matin dehors car ce lieu était infesté de mouche. Balade très sympa à la grotte qui est à 5 minutes à pied (prévoir une lampe).

Le top du top du spot. Pas chaud, pas froid, pas de moustique, pas de bruit. Peu de passage (que le matin), mais on n'entend rien si on s'installe au plus loin de la route. Nous avons super bien dormir et vu l'Etna au réveil. Ça valait le détour !
