Une agréable auberge servant une cuisine excellente (Truite pêchée dans le lac). Le parking est en face et surplombe le réservoir et avec l’autorisation, vous pouvez garer pendant la nuit.

Amazing little place with nice views of ladybower reservoir and pub food was perfect. I had locally shot Partridge. You can hear a bit of road noise but that's a small price to pay for how nice everything is. We will definitely return here!

Now £25/n. Go into Ladybower Inn and put your reg in you get the parking "for half price" but staff unaware the charge had gone up and you have to eat there. Most of their taps were off - pump broken. £19 for fish and chips, no WiFi.. not for us. Walked 15min to the Yorkshire Bridge Inn. Food amazing, great drinks and top service. Note: no over night parking allowed Fri, Sat or Sun.

  • 5/5

Paid £10 parking staff friendly and helpful had fish & chips good value for money, weather could have been better but that’s England.

  • 3/5

Nice place, 3G signal is pretty much none existent in this spot avoid if internet on the move is required.

  • 3/5

The car park is no longer free to customers (for now). I turned up this evening and the pub is under new ownership. The landlord told me that they do not have control over the ANPR car park and consequently it’s £20 a night for campers. They did say that they are looking to work with the parking company in the future to make the car park cost redeemable against food and drink, but not yet.

  • 4/5

Lovely spot with beautiful view in the morning. Was only £5 for a car so was happy with that. We were the only people there so felt super safe, it is along a main road so cars going at all times but didn’t keep us up at all. There are no bins which was a slight inconvenience and no toilets and the pub is closed :/ good spot all things considered

  • 2/5

nice spot over the reservoir. but 20 a night for a small motorhome? pub is closed so all you get for £20 is a parking spot? absolutely nothing else? did find a tap to replenish our drinking water but that's it. just moved on. absolute rip off. cheaper if you are in a car. but anything from a van upwards is extortionate. id maybe only come back if the pub was open.

  • 5/5

Stayed overnight. Only got charged £10.50. Pub still closed but lovely and quiet. Only us and another camper in the entire car park. Stunning views over the resevoir and the peak

  • 1/5

Pub still closed. Can still park overnight for £20 and can pay by your phone. We decided not to stay and look elsewhere as more local places better value for money. If pub re-opens then it would be a great place as previously they refund money if buy from the pub.

  • 1/5

We have just Arrived 1 June 2022. And the pub is closed until further notice. The car park was open though so it did look like you could still pay and stay for the 24 hours

  • 4/5

Not bad at all. Bought a drink or two in the pub and entered my car details to allow overnight parking. Was unfortunate that a couple were getting vert drunk in the pub and wanted to let ALL the other campers know that they were the centre of the universe when they stumbled back to their van. Other than that it’s a decent spot for sure. Busy road runs past even through the night

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot for the night. Free if you eat or drink at the pub and £20 if you just want to park for a night. We came here in May and it was very quiet, no other vans, we had the amazing view of Ladybower just for ourselves.

  • 5/5

Bought a pint of Guinness and in return get a quiet, totally flat parking spot for the night. Class

  • 5/5

Great spot, friendly staff, very good food. Perfect location for walks around the area. Booked in advance. Get here early to get the best view.

  • 5/5

Excellent stop. You can call ahead and book one of the spaces if you want to be organised and avoid dissapointment. Really nice location with a few nice walks nearby.

  • 5/5

quick update. parking is free (up to 24hrs) if you have drink or food at the pub. All you need to register your number plate at the pub. breakfast is very nice.

  • 5/5

Stayed here with 2 other campers, nice sized car park opposite reservoir. Nice pub with good food and breakfast.

  • 5/5

Really lovely place to stop. Lovely views of the reservoir and some good links to footpaths. Car park is nice and flat. The parking bays are relatively narrow so don’t expect to be able to put an awning out. ANPR car park, make sure you pop into the pub to put your registration into the machine. Food is lovely! Steak &Ale pie is 10/10! They Serve tea/coffee/breakfast too! Highly Recommended

  • 5/5

we arrived quite late so we were directed elsewhere for dinner. however we popped in after for a couple of drinks so parking overnight was free. we slept very well and couldn't hear anyone else so we managed to sleep in a little. we had breakfast which was well priced and delicious! super friendly staff and an incredible view to wake up too. will definitely be returning.

  • 1/5

i would not bother with this place 18 vans crammed in with no space between them is a fire hazard. and the food is sub standard with inflated prices, thats if you are lucky and get everything you have paid for. the layby 5 minutes up the road is much better option and cleaner wont be back EVER complete rip off

  • 5/5

Excellent stop over and very friendly staff. Ignore the pay meters and just pop in the pub and enter your vehicle registration at the bar as an overnight guest. They are dog friendly too with free wi-fi. Food and beer is good. lovely quiet night with views over lake.

  • 5/5

I am definitely returning here. Stayed NYE along with others. I emailed them the day before and ordered a three course meal to takeaway (to isolate)and received quick responses to emails to confirm. Found place easy enough at 3pm and the car park was very busy with walkers. Food was lovely, views amazing. Location was amazing, will be 100% returning in the future.

  • 5/5

lovely little pub flat car park the plug hole a short walk away some great views the road is close and busy the only down side the food was nice bit pricey though and dogs are welcome

  • 4/5

Only 5 vans not 10. It’s council rules apparently. Amazing walking and views from the park up. We had breakfast, checked in the reg for 24 hours and went walking all day. Returning at 5pm to dine. Food was excellent and usual higher end pub prices post pandemic now. Delicious food. The road is noisy. It started from 0630 waking me. Not a deal breaker though. Earplugs next time. Plenty of walks.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night after being very unsuccessful in finding a decent wild camping spot to stay. Parking is free if you go in and have a meal - we enjoyed our breakfast here! Nice large car park but the road is a very busy one from early on.

  • 3/5

Booked with the pub as they as 5 allocated parking spaces, but you must log your reg in the pub when you get there, otherwise pay £20 for overnight parking at the parking meter. Food ok,but pricey. Constant road noise though.

  • 5/5

Great view with a lovely forest walk near by! We booked before hand. The wagu beef & vegan burgers were delicious. Opens up at 8am for bkfast with takeaway coffees served in 100% compostable cups. Overall VERY impressed!

  • 4/5

Great spot for walks, call the pub to book in advance as only 5 vans are allowed now, you get 24 hours parking if you eat in the pub. friendly staff, dog friendly, road a bit noisy bring some ear plugs

  • 4/5

Looked a nice spot and away from pub in seperate end of carpark. We turned up without booking to be told they can only accommodate 5 Van's which was a shame as their was plenty of space. will book in advance next time

  • 5/5

Lovely spot for the night, road wasn’t to noisy after 10pm food was ok in the pub, easy access and simple to check in for free parking using the tablet on the bar. We did phone ahead that morning to book a space and there was a few motor homes but ample parking with good views.

  • 5/5

Stayed 2 nights, great little spot, great pub with lovely food. lovely views. woken a few times through the night by traffic. over all spot on. Booked a week in advance

  • 4/5

Free, just sign up at the pub. Very friendly pub with good food. Toilets accessible. Boy racers seem to go home at 8pm then it’s pretty quiet

  • 4/5

Nice pub, nice views, walking/biking straight from the van...what more can you want! I booked as a last min and plenty of room, make sure you check your number plate in on the pubs ipad as it is private land. Ear plugs required if your a light sleeper as you are right next to the main road, Well worth a stop off. oh and they open at 8am for toilets and breakfast.

  • 4/5

Stayed here for two nights, great stop right on the road but the noise didn’t bother us. We had breakfast both mornings and have a reg to the lovely staff which allowed us to stay there for free. Toilet in pub or 15 minute walk down the road to Heatherdene carpark, where there is also a tap for drinking water

  • 4/5

Great view, nice level parking. You have to let the guys in the pub know your van Reg so they can add it to there system. £20 for 24hours unless eating there then it’s free. Food at the Pub was nothing special but fairly priced . Toilet inside pub and drinking water also available from a tap outside . Very noisy road all through the night and early morning.

  • 4/5

The views from one side of the carpark are spectacular and we were fortunate to be parking there! We ate at the Ladybower that evening so parked for free, however the food was really average and a little disappointing. The spot itself though was quiet at night, fantastic access to the reservoir and a really enjoyable stay!

  • 5/5

£25 for the night in a camper, £10 for a standard car. completely free if you buy anything in the Ladybower Inn! just have to give the pub your number plate and they add it to the system to not get ticketed! had dinner there and then breakfast the next morning. enough room for 6 or so campers, and 20-30 cars. food is average but the view and friendly staff made up for it!

  • 5/5

Parking is free with the meal (otherwise, £25 for the night). Make sure you let someone know and make sure you arrive time when they still serve food. Very friendly, big and flat parking with a beautiful view. We were there on the weekday, so it was quiet.

  • 4/5

Great spot for the night. Views are lovely and easy to access, pub is average for food but good service.

  • 3/5

Parking is free . pub food is less than average. we had burger which was OK..but not great.and waffles which stated were fresh!!!... with banana and toffee..freshly microwaved but not fresh beyond that .. it needs to be looked at good wise but parking seems okay I'd rather have have paid £5 parking weekday and made my own food tbh .... staff were lovely...just don't go for good fresh food ....

  • 5/5

Stopped last night for the second time in 2 weeks. brilliant spot for walking, free to stay if buying food from the pub, which is really tasty with good service, also dog friendly. Definitely recommend a walk up bamford edge which is very close, with amazing views.

  • 5/5

Stopped here last night for one night we parked for free because we ordered some take away food and eat it in the camper. Food was amazing! Staff were amazing! Service was amazing! Nice good spot! Can use the pub toilets while its open. Slight road noise but other than that spot on. FYI parking is £20 a night if you don’t want to eat at the pub

  • 4/5

4 star as we had the view looking onto nature- back doors open with a cuppa and a bacon sandwich, lovely walks in the area, food is really nice in the pub.

  • 4/5

Parking was great - it was flat with grass mats down, level and yes, there was a little road noise but nothing that couldn’t be blocked out. Views were amazing! When we phoned ahead, the Ladybower pub said we could stay for free if we had a meal - no problem, we thought. The online menu looked fab and we were very excited for it after a long drive! It was, however, a disappointment. The table was given a cursory wipe as we were about to sit down. They had a different menu on, probably to manage change in menus for Covid management, but most things they had run out of. The Diet Coke was flat as you like, so I asked for water but they still charged me for the cola. The toilets also needed a damn good clean, and the tables were only wiped down as we got to it. Disappointment with the restaurant but parking was fine (no tap, though.).

  • 5/5

Stayed the night with nice views and quiet in the night a bit of road noise in the morning but nothing major food was good and well priced lot of other campers parked up for the night

  • 5/5

Great place for an over night stop. Free of charge when eating in the pub which offers lovely, fresh home cooked food. Just let them know you are parking over night and make sure they take your reg so to avoid any parking fees. Staff are very friendly.

  • 5/5

Great place for a night, £20 or free if you eat at the pub opposite. Good hearty food, road busy in day but very quiet at night, fantasy views to wake up to , in designated camper area, will definitely be back

  • 5/5

As everyone else said it’s great and nice to go have pub grub. Pub stops serving about 10pm, arrive early to grab one of the two spaces where the back of the van looks over the lake. Nice and safe.

  • 5/5

Lovely flat spot in a great location. Buy food or drink in the pub and give reg otherwise £20 for overnight. The camper parking was busy when we arrived and a few bigger vans and motorhomes blocked some of the other spaces which was disappointing. Better suited to smaller vans.

  • 5/5

Perfect. Great spot, lovely food and staff.

  • 5/5

Great spot to camp. Had drinks in pub and gave our reg so we could park for free. Lovely view to wake up to and perfect spot for biking.

  • 5/5

We stayed here for one night. Had dinner in the pub and they took our reg so we could stay for free. Portion sizes are huge and the food was good. Felt safe and had a couple of other campers there. It’s about a 15/20 minute walk across the bridge of the reservoir to the toilets of a nearby car park if the pub is closed.

  • 4/5

Great spot but busy road. Friendly pub and beautiful location.

  • 5/5

A brilliant place that we wouldn’t have found if not for park4night! Meals are a bit pricey but they are very good. Free overnight parking when you use the Ladybower Inn or £20 without using the pub. NB parking meter isn’t working at the moment, you might get a night or two for free??!!

  • 5/5

Good spot for a night or two. Basically a camper friendly pub carpark. A bit of road noise but nothing too drastic. There are public toilets just down the roas if you didnt want to use the pub. free to use if going to the pub. I think it was £20 for the night if not

  • 5/5

A great place, amazing views of Ladybower and the pub is a very welcoming with proper homemade pub grub and good beers.

  • 5/5

    Perfect food and location

  • 5/5

Just finished dinner here and retired to the motorhome, food outstanding in a friendly professional environment

  • 5/5

First night out in the van. Had a meal in the pub (nice steak and ale pie...). Fairly busy with people staying overnight but quiet. Free to stay if you are a patron - type your reg in on a screen in the pub.

  • 5/5

Our first night in the van away from home - New Years Eve at Ladybower. Perfect. Large car park set back from road (with wonderful morning views). Free to park if your going in the pub - which we highly recommend. Fantastic food, friendly staff. We will be back (especially as we only live up the road!!

  • 5/5

Great spot next to a great pub. They like to take your name and reg in the pub, but I think they just like to know who's there/ been in (we only had drinks and no problem). There is a sign outside saying no parking outside opening hours, but seems.you just need to ask. Fantastic spot to go for walks, picturesque peaks!

  • 5/5

Great night stay at the Ladybower pub car park, even surfaces and the traffic noise was not a problem. The pub sells amazing food and is paw friendly!

  • 5/5

Fabulous carpark with nice views. Staff at the Ladybower Inn were so friendly and nice, particularly Samantha behind the bar. Stayed two nights. Lovely food and beer at the pub too. Road nearby but it didn’t bother us.

  • 5/5

Lovely little place to stay. No charge for over night parking and the staff were very accommodating.

  • 5/5

Good little spot. asked the pub first and said okay. food and pint was good. wifi didnt work well to upload my blog. went for run around the reservoir in the morning. nice views.

  • 5/5

Great location pub staff very friendly is a little noisy from road traffic but evening and night very quiet

  • 5/5

Great food in the pub and an amazing view out of the van

  • 3/5

Poor expensive food but view was great

  • 5/5

Plenty of room in the carpark, called the pub and booked a table and mentioned the camper, was no bother, they are very relaxed. Food was great and good local real ales. Great to head out for plenty of lovely walks, we saw loads of mountain bikers on the trails. You did hear cars on the main road throughout the night so earplugs recommended. see photos.

  • 5/5

Stayed for 1 night nice view and quiet at night asked in the pub about parking for the night they said no problem as others have said gates are locked at night

  • 3/5

Stayed here for one night, they lock the gates overnight but can ask to get out. Be careful when you do though because as we opened the gates another car snuck in and one of the cooks came over and shouted at us because the gates were open for us to get our van out. The manager is a gem but the staff, not so much! Had a lovely breakfast although the quality of ours compared to a ‘resident’s’ was significantly lower, and ours wasn’t complementary!

  • 5/5

Lovely place to stay, nice size car park that has gates that are locked after the pub closes. Ladybower Inn has fantastic food and their Breakfast is to Die for. Pub Manager is really friendly and accommodating. Highly Recommended. .

  • 5/5

Car park over the road from the pub, asked about staying here before eating and they were very friendly. The lock the gates after the pub closes, but open it early and they said if we wanted to get out before it opened then we could ask and it wouldn't be a problem. Good food, good beer.

  • 5/5

Parked here overnight without any problems, but ask staff at pub first they told us not a problem. Had a great meal and dessert and a few pints as only parked over road. Car park can get busy about 6pm with locals so park up early.

  • 5/5

Fantastic play to stay, pub serves gorgeous food and staff very friendly.

  • 5/5

Really Friendly, great location and food
