(AB39 2JU) Stonehaven - 4 El Street

Schöner Stellplatz. Die Auffahrt mit Campern ist leider nicht erlaubt. Zusätzlich ist er auch immer recht voll

Die Toiletten sind alle geschlossen. Wir standen hier mit unserem 6.40 Campervan ganz prima. Es gibt den ein oder anderen Platz wo man rückwärts problemlos "überhängen" kann. Wir standen somit genau auf einem PKW Platz ohne jemanden zu behindern. Trotzdem darf man nicht vergessen dass alles hier eng ist. Steht man allerdings, so hat man eine schöne Sicht auf die Nordsee.

Cracking little spot, but only 2 bays that r good enough for 5 metres owt more & u r hanging out, u can park on front at the uther site of Bay, toilets r clean & u get hot water, fantastic veiws & town centre is a short walk, lot of cafes & chips shops, all u need, such a quiet night last night we decided to stay one more night, don't forget lev nowt behind,

Parking is good, I’m in a 6m and it was fine there’s a couple of spaces you can reverse and hang over. Town is cute and friendly and loads of walks. Unfortunately I had 2 vans wake everyone up at 4am shouting and banging doors etc so not good sleep but just unlucky

Standen hier für eine Nacht. Kamen Nachmittags auf unserer Durchreise nach Aberdeen hier an und konnten einen Parkplatz in erster Reihe mit direktem Blick aufs Meer ergattern. Super schön. Die öffentlichen Toiletten in direkter Nähe waren sauber und von morgens bis abends zugänglich. Kostenlos.

Perfecto para visitar el pueblo. Más adelante hay más espacio en el siguiente aparcamiento. Las plazas son cortas pero es posible aparcar autocaravanas de 6,7 m.

Notre première nuit hors camping en Écosse, l’endroit est top, au calme et propre. Nous étions en campervan, pas de soucis pour se garer. Il y a un pub sympa à proximité, et en prenant notre petit déjeuner, nous avons aperçu des dauphins juste devant nous, instant magique !

Lovely spot but not suitable for anything bigger than a vw transporter as most of the bays are only 5 metres long and very narrow. With either a walls or bolards at the back of the bays.

Sehr guter kostenloser Parkplatz, Übernachtung nicht verboten, Toiletten vorhanden, aber von 8pm-8am geschlossen. Wanderung zum Castle möglich & wunderschön. Mülleimer vorhanden Viel Verkehr

Parking gratuit au bord de mer. Joli chemin de promenade à côté du parking. À deux pas des restaurants et du port de Stonehaven. Toilettes publiques propres (ouvert de 8h à 20h) ! Assez calme, sauf en fin de soirée : lieu de rdv pour les jeunes du village (rien de bien méchant).

We stayed Friday and Saturday Night, absolutely loved it. There were a few other vans, and many locals. Everyone was very friendly and we slept well. The toilets are well kept and there are a few nice places to eat nearby. The view is the best we have had while traveling! The beach is wonderful and the town is adorable. Highly recommend.

We stayed on a Sunday night and were constantly disturbed by three cars full of teenagers revving their engines, beeping their horns and playing music really loud, driving round in circles to deliberately disturb people. Would not stay here again

Slept here in our van with some other Campers 2 days ago. Everything alright. Nice views!

Parking assez bruyant le soir et le matin. La vue est top mais prendre en compte le bruit des vagues et celui d'un générateur qui est en route toute la nuit. Je n'ai pas si bien dormi, même avec boule quies.

One of the better spots I have slept. Great view on the sea. Tight spots so would only recommend for campervans. Can make a hike from here to the castle.

Stayed 1 night here, was stunning scenery and very quiet! Had a few dog walkers in the morning and evening but all were friendly, toilet block 30metres away open 8am-6pm in winter 8am-8pm summer. Rubbish bins avaliable also. Parking was free with no signs to say no overnight parking

Nice spot next to harbour area but not suitable for motorhomes over 6m, tight spaces and busy parking for cars. Recommend Campervans only!

Lovely place for an overnight or weekend stopover. Busy car park during the day but peaceful at night. Lots of things to see and do and plenty eating/drinking places nearby. Tight parking spaces, larger motorhome may struggle. Toilets clean and open 8am till 8pm. Enjoyed this stop, will return.

A decent place to stop for the night. Free car park and toilets at the entrance. The car park is next to the sea, so it was quite exposed to a cold wind and there was a generator running somewhere nearby until the early hours (only downside) but quiet besides that. A short walk into the town of Stonehaven.

A great place for an overnight stay next to the sea, although it was pretty busy and tight to park for larger vehicles. Short walk to the stone beach, toilets open nearby are decent but a bit dated. A half hour walk to Dunnottar Castle which is worth a visit even if you don't pay to go in (was £8 per adult).

Really nice place to park and quiet at night. Sea view and toilets nearby (opens 8am in the morning).

Stayed one night. Nice easy walk into town. We parked a 7m campervan and it just fit into the spots without obstructing the road. Toilets within 50-100m from the carpark

Stayed one night, no signs up. Three other vans for the night. was quite after sunset at 10:30.. few folk turn up to watch the sunset and then locals park up to eat chippy but quite the rest of the night. Great sunset/sunrise spot. Downside is that the car park it lit quite bright all night. The nearest Chippy on the front is click and collect only so go Carrons instead a few streets behind.

The perfect spot, pretty level, views of sea , next to harbour . Clean toilets too. Walkable to pubs. Lovely stay here.

Great views and a convenient spot for a small camper van, in easy walking distance of cafes and restaurants. No facilities nearby other than public toilets which are locked overnight. Not suitable for large vehicles due to small parking bays and narrow lanes. There is no height restriction however.

Couldn't fault the area, quiet and homely, the little patch of beach was a breathe of fresh air, woke up mid morning, and still had no sound around us, was windy during the night but that was normal, would recommend and would stay again

Lovely spot, with good clean toilets at car park entrance. A busy car park, but completely quiet overnight. Spaces quite small and we only managed to park a 7m van by reversing over a stone curb. Take a look, but you may not get in!

Stayed here on 26/08/20. Small bays for larger MH but manageable. Lovely spot, quiet harbour, nice and scenic view of the bay. Nice clean toilets shut at 8pm.

Hierbei handelt es sich zwar um einen normalen Kfz-Parkplatz in Stonehaven, welcher aber direkt am Meer liegt - tolle Aussicht! Mit dem Wohnmobil darf man über Nacht stehen Ein schöner Weg entlang des Strandes in den Ort (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) bzw. ein Weg hoch zum Dunnottar Castle gibt es auch. Hier würden wir auch wieder hinfahren!

Nice free parking at the sea. But quite small for large vehicles. Toilets are between 8-20. Nice walk to the castle and pubs nearby.

Buen sitio para dormir, vistas muy bonitas. Desayunar en el muro viendo el amanecer espectacular.

Parking très bien placé avec vue sur la mer. Toilettes fermées la nuit. Un chemin part du port pour aller visiter le Dunnottar castle. Il longe les falaises, magnifique !

Exclusivement pour petits camping-cars de moins de 6,80 m

Il parcheggio è asfaltato, abbastanza in piano e tranquillo. Bagni non molto puliti e aperti solo dalle 8 alle 20. Zona porto e vista mare, bella vista. Circa 50 posti auto. No doccia, no acqua potabile, no scarico per wc chimici. Consigliata la friggitoria takeaway 'the carron’, ottimo pesce fritto a prezzi ragionevoli.

Super Parkplatz zum Freistehen.

Parking du port très fréquenté de jour mais peu le soir. Les toilettes sont à côté de l’entrée du parking et sont propres. Nous avons même pu nous servir en eau. Le sentier menant au château se trouve à 5 mn à pied ainsi que le centre-ville. Merci pour le lieu

À proscrire pour les camping-cars de plus de 6m et le parking de la piscine n'est pas autorisé la nuit.

Très bien placé, mais grands gabarits s'abstenir. De 7mètres, soit arriver tard soit aller un peu plus loin près de la piscine.

Super parking pour visiter et un sentier qui mène directement au château avec une superbe vue. (allez dans le port, après les restaurants suivre le sentier fléché Dunnotar Castle). Merci pour l'information

Dormi une nuit face à la mer. Près du port ou l'on trouve 2 bars. Nous avons bien mangé au the Ship Inn. Toilettes près du parking Pour camping-car de 6 metres, il n'y a à mon avis 5 places. Si vous faites plus juger par vous-même

La plus belle soirée et nuit que nous ayons passé en Écosse. Magnifique vue sur la mer et sur le coucher de soleil. Calme et agréable. Toilettes publiques juste à côté.
