Lyon, 1 Place de l'Abbé Larue

Paid parking the day on the heights of Lyon near funicular to access the old Lyon, quiet to spend the night with a bakery that has an excellent Cafe, enough to start the day. Remarkable point of view close to the Gallo-Roman theater and the basilica of Fourvière (on foot). The descent on the old Lyon is steep but the ascent is formidable where the funicular convenient until midnight.

Superbe spot proche vieux Lyon aller dans le parc au bout du parking pour bénéficier d une vue magnifique tres calme avons passé une bonne journée et nuit par contre bruyant a partir de 7h en semaine

Flat parking, free during august. There were some people playing loud music (but it was saturday evening) short walking distance to the city and the roman teatre and cathedral. Its a bit steep to walk back from the city again tho

Parfait pour aller visiter le vieux Lyon via le funiculaire pour les moins courageux et aussi pour aller voir notre dame de Fourvière et le théâtre antique . places ombragées , parking gratuit du 1 er au 31 août ! par contre je ne resterai pas la nuit .

Emplacement idéalement placé pour visiter la vieille ville (15 minutes à pied). A une minute du jardin des curiosités avec une vue en hauteur imprenable sur Lyon. Malgré nos craintes par rapport à la saleté de l'endroit et son isolement, aucune mauvaise surprise au retour au camion (nous y étions un dimanche matin, donc gratuit). Accès très simple via autoroute pour une grande ville comme Lyon.

Tarde del 30/12, solo llegar vimos gente con pintas raras. Aparcamos y nos dirigimos a la catedral, pero no nos quedamos tranquilos asi que volvemos y llevamos la auto al lado de la catedral, allí todo iluminado y con gente pensamos que no habrá problema. Al volver de un corto paseo, auto abierta y nos han robado todo.Pensamos que es una pandilla que se mueve por esa zona, da igual donde aparques

Super endroit pour passer la nuit. On y est arrivé samedi soir pour répartir dimanche. Tout cela gratuitement car le dimanche n'est pas payant.

Idéal pour se garer la journée, accès rapide au vieux Lyon en funiculaire. En revanche, il ne faut pas y passer la nuit!!! Nous avons dû partir en pleine nuit à cause du bruit, c’est un lieu où les jeunes se réunissent pour écouter de la musique jusqu’à très tard!!!!

Aparcamiento perfecto para ver la ciudad vieja. En agosto es gratuito. El funicular queda en la misma calle y por 3€ subes y bajas a Lyon, te deja justo al lado de la catedral de San Juan Bautista y el casco antiguo, que esta lleno de tiendas con productos típicos, restaurantes y un museo de cine y miniaturas. Aparcamiento muy recomendado

Great location right at the top of the city, near the basilica and the Roman amphitheater. Amazing views of city. Parking isn’t too expensive if your just passing through and having a walk around. Cafe right next to car park for nice coffee and sandwhiches (has a toilet as well!).Big steep walk down into town, but very beautiful.

Sehr guter Parkplatz mit sehr gutem Bäcker, jedoch sehr überteuert - haben sie 3 Stunden gezahlt, weil dies im besten Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis stand....

Grand parking ! Plus de problème de hauteur à ce jour ... calme :) un peu bancale . Très bonne position !!!

Endroit très sympathique et calme, nous y avons passé une nuit avec notre Bavaria T740. La vue est dégagée et il y a peu de passage. Je recommande. ✅

Para una urgencia !! Nosotros hoy pasamos una noche. Mucho ruido de gente y coches. Es zona tranquila, pero pasa gente y hace sentirse algo inseguro.

Super spot pour dormir à Lyon, calme et proche des transports en commun. Au bout du parking vous avez accès au jardin des curiosités avec une vue magnifique sur Lyon ?

Stayed for one night. Very good location for visiting old city. Seems to be meeting place of local young people so don't expect quite night. For a day parking is perfect but I wouldn't spend there another night.

Bien situé pour accéder au funiculaire. Avons eu des jeunes le dimanche soir jusqu'à minuit sinon nuit plutôt calme. Stationnement bien gratuit en août.

Lovely little spot in the centre of Lyon with an incredible view across the city. It did feel very safe but a group of youngsters kept us up until 3am drinking and playing music (night of 10th August) so maybe not the best spot to stay on the weekend!

Unbelievable to have such a good central location in Lyon. Free in August. A few other campers there. In a nice area of town. Felt safe (night of 11th August) but a harmless group of youngsters arrived at 2am dancing and playing music until a local resident threatened to call the police. Noisy but safe. Beside a lovely playground. A bit of littering by cars visiting briefly, which we disposed of.

Tres bon parking relatibement calme boulangerie a cote qui fait des petits déjeuners vue sympa sur les hauteurs de Lyon
