No overnight parking signs. No penalties so technically not enforceable but is a Gwynedd council sign

Good spot for a one night stay. Its close by the road but we arrived after midnight so very little traffic but the view over the bay in the morning was absolutely spectacular....

  • 4/5

Reasonably level, adjacent to the road so expect noise. No refuse points. Beautiful views.

  • 3/5

Ticked all the boxes, great view of the sea and peaceful sound of the waves. Lots of rubbish thrown into the layby/into adjacent field, which was disappointing.

  • 4/5

Good spot and fantastic views! lots of road noise but quiet at night, slope isn't bad if you can pick your spot

  • 5/5

Very nice place nice and quiet slept like a baby

  • 5/5

Stayed last night parked at the top of laybye slope not as bad tucked ourselves into hedge out the way road noice was not that bad except for the horn blower around 4am we spent 1/2hr litter pick before we departed with the 2 bags would stay again

  • 4/5

Good spot, no issues with space or locals. Road is pretty busy though. Can highly recommend the ice cream from Cadwaladers on the way to the castle! Great views from there too ;)

  • 4/5

Awesome view of Criccieth one draw back is the busy road and sloping parking area, levelling blocks a must. Enough room for 4 vehicles No signs to say you can not park overnight. gravel hard standing. Would stay again when passing and in the area.

Stayed for lunch and to walk the coast path. Did not stay the night. However there is no signs advising people not to.

  • 4/5

Overnight parking sign must’ve vanished as there isn’t one here now , friendly locals beeping every time they go past , makes it feel very welcoming , had a great sleep here

  • 1/5

New sign, no overnight parking. obviously with the honking previously mentioned, the locals aren't keen on people camping there either.

  • 5/5

Stayed here no issues. View amazing. Short walk into town. No car horns. Would recommend

Great spot! We ended up at 3 campervans and there was still space. Felt safe. Got beeped at 6am by a passing vehicle but other than that no problem. 15min walk into town to collect a takeaway, 5-10min walk to the beach.

We loved this spot, amazing views out over the sea and towards the castle. The sun flooded into the van in the morning. A couple of beepers in the morning but the view more than made up for that. 15 minutes walk into Criccieth at the most.

Fantastic view of town and the castle and obviously the sea. As other reviews though. Quite a steep slope and next to busy road

  • 3/5

Amazing views but road was noisy most of the night.

  • 4/5

Nice hidden place set back from the road. Beautiful sea view. Quiet at night however passers by in the morning beeping horns.Park on the flat. only down side is the rubbish people have been leaving behind in the top corner!Space for about 5 campers.

Great views across Cardigan bay and only a short walk from the town. I parked at the top of the lay-by, pretty level. A little road noise during the day, but nice and quite overnight.

  • 4/5

Amazing vista, generally good. a little loud with traffic and annoying habit of vehicles honking horns when passing
