Lagos, A Estrada de São Roque

Large flat area to park near the boatyard with easy access to the beach. Campervans tolerated here most of the time although occasionally people get moved on. Also possible to park between this area and the other marked parking area nearby and further down by the river as well as nearer the train station.

Nice flat spot near the beach and marina. 10 minute walk to large Pingo Doce supermarket and 20 minute walk into the town centre. At the moment there is working going on Monday - Friday from 8am at the part of the boatyard right opposite this parking area which can be a bit loud and sometimes dusty. It is possible to move further down between the ruins or near the river.

Great spot to stay, walking distance to the city centre and right at the beach. Be careful though there is an old guy in a small white car that comes to watch people in there vans at night. We stayed 2 nights (in different week) and both nights he was there and peaking in our van. We also spoke to another girl with a van that had seem him do the same.

Plutôt tranquille, il y a un tout petit peu de passage, on entend un peu le train et la pelleteuse le matin mais pour être aussi proches de la ville on ne va pas se plaindre ! On était tout seuls, la plage est à 3’ à pied donc c’est quand même assez agréable

We loved this spot. Great location with a selection of relatively flat areas to park. There is a prohibited to motorhomes sign as you enter but there were at least 20 other motorhomes there at the time and had no issues at all. Don't know if they are stricter in high season but we would recommend.

Gros panneau interdit aux camping-cars à l’entrée. Mais nous y sommes allés quand même. Lieu de stationnement sur sable/boue plutôt dur mais attention les jours de pluie. Accessible gros gabarit. Plutôt plat, plein soleil, poubelles. Calme. une passerelle permet d'aller rapidement dans la ville, en bus de 12 m karasgo family route's

Nice to stay with a mixture of motorhomes and serious 'van-lifers', which means there is almost no toilet paper here luckily. It's a really peaceful spot and people are polite and quiet. The walk to Lagos is really nice. We regularly stay here, it's one of our fave in land places to stay!

Bon espace de parking à proximité de la plage. Un des seuls «autorisés» à Lagos. 15 mn de marche de la ville par la passerelle.

Ekelhafter Stellplatz bei dem jeder seinen Müll hinkippt. Tagsüber haben wir hier urinierende Frauen am Platz, Tampons, Papiertücher, Schutt, Flaschen und Hinterlassenschaften von Hunden gesehen. Einmal und nie wieder. Igitt

Plutôt un terrain vague, dommage belle plage à coté et port. Difficulté à trouver une aire tolérée à Lagos. Nous ne sommes pas restés.

Stayed with our van for 2 nights, just a few other campers, lovely sight, bits of dunes, trash containers, directly at the sea and very quiet at night. Walking to city center about 12min. No police showed up.

Schöner Platz direkt hinter den Dünen. Kleines Restaurant mit schönem Blick daneben. Theoretisch sind dort Duschen, diese gehen aber leider nicht mehr. Müll kann in den öffentlichen Containern entsorgt werden. Wir standen Gier 5 Nächte. Ohne Probleme, keine Polizei. Viele andere Camper, da fühlt man sich auch sicher. Wir waren Mitte Mai hier.

Perfect spot! We were here for a week and there wasn't problem. Safety because there are always a lot of camper. Good to start to kayak. Near the good beach and the super downtown. For 2 kms there is a service place with paying parking where the service is free except for the drinking water.

On ne va pas faire les difficiles car pour trouver un lieu pour dormir ou on ne risque pas d'être déloger, ce n'est pas facile dans le sud. Les municipalités sont beaucoup plus accueillantes dans le centre et le Nord.

Attention pour les propriétaires de chiens, il y a des épillets partout ! Le chien ne peux pas aller faire son petit tour sans en ramener plein dans ses poils. Soyez vigilants ! Espace plat, le train n'est pas dérangeant car rare et très lent, passage de promeneurs. Bruits de la ville lointains.

Hier een week gestaan met af en toe een uitstapje naar andere locatie, maar elke avond weer een plek kunnen vinden. totaal geen overlast ervaren, geweldig strand en op loop afstand van Lagos. Water gehaald bij de officiële camperplaats bij het stadion.

Man steht ohne Meerblick, aber an einer schönen Düne. 200m über die Düne zum Sandstrand. Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht mit knapp 10 anderen Wohnmobilen.

Great spot in March, not bothered by anyone. I guess out of season, parking here is tolerated. Not sure about in season. No noise from the railway and some stunning walks along the beach. Great spot had two nights here. No services except bins.

This is a spectacular place to spend the night. It’s right outside Lagos just a 20 min walk across the bridge and you have all the night life you want. Not too crowded either

Parking proche d'une grande plage et accès centre ville à pied par une passerelle. Attention au risque d'ensablement (remarque faite en connaissance de cause puisque nous avons du faire appel à un dépanneur). D'ailleurs, on n'est pas rancunier et on y retourne ce soir. Endroit calme.

Great beach good location - stayed 1 night with about 8 other vans quiet spot. There is some beach bars close by. A little bit of rubbish around so please keep tidy and look after the area

Lagos ist wunderschön, aber ziemlich touristisch. Dieser Platz ist ein schöner, ruhiger Kontrast dazu. Quasi am Strand gelegen, ist der Hafen nur 5‘ Fussmarsch entfernt, der Stadtkern 20‘. Tagsüber hat es eine kleine Fähre, die über den Kanal führt. Damit erreicht man den Stadtkern in wenigen Minuten. Wir haben uns den Platz mit rund 3 Vans und 5 Camper geteilt, Polizei tauchte nicht auf.

If you go a bit further in to the dunes it’s better. I’ve stayed there a few nights recently, police drive past yesterday morning and had no problems, I’m guessing it wouldn’t be the same in high season if there were lots of people camping there. Short walk into town over the foot bridge and plenty of bars in the marina. No services, just a bin. Dogs are allowed on the right hand side of the beach

C'est sympa, il y a plein de véhicules aménagés, mais c'est explicitement interdit aux camping-cars et véhicules à usage d'habitation. A chacun de voir s'il veut risquer l'amende compte tenu de la chasse effectuée par la GNR.
