alvetoexpedition29/03/2022One of the dirtiest places we camped in Georgia,so sad, people around here are so recklessly littering everywhere it was disgusting, couples come here during the night to make love and/or groups of youngsters for smoking and drinking...the place it's like a landfill.watch out for broken glass bottles to avoid punctures.Arrived at sunset and were too tired to go elsewhere, otherwise we would have

2teachersontour25/02/2020We stayed here for 1 night. Some cars came to park here during sunset and there is a lot of rubbish (like everywhere) but besides this it was fine.

Frankieee10/04/2019We stayed for 2 nights. Lots of cars during the evening, no problem with that. Last night police came at 11 pm knocking on the car and asking usual questions - where are we from etc. They asked what are we doing here, I said parking with our camper car. They said its not camping place, I agreed, we are just parking though. They kept saying it's not a safe spot and they left afterwards.

We found a spot between the trees, perfect for a hamock. Really peacefull and with a beautiful view on the lake. I lost a book here, so if you find it enjoy it :)

You can camp pretty much all around the lake. very calm and perfect for swimming. there are also locals there barbecuing very often
