Free to park a camper one night in seven. Quite a slope at the top though!

Smallish car park, spaces for around 100 cars. No long bays. Mostly sloping, a few level bays at the bottom. Longer motorhomes can overhang the ends of the bays on the right toward the top of the car park.

Turn right off A40 where signed for car park, just as you enter the town from the south, car park is next left, signed. Tourist information, toilets, cafes, fish & chips, chinese, pubs, post office, shops and bank all very close.

All you could need for a quick park up. No toilets / amenities, but has phone signal. Great walk to Table Mountain nearby. Free after 6pm - 8am, and can stay for 1 night in 7 only.

  • 5/5

Stayed for the one night, there are a few flat spaces closer to the information centre. No issues overnight, super quiet even on a Friday. Did Table Mountain and Pen Cerrig-Calch the next day. all day parking £4 with a converted van.

Stopped here for 1 night. Quiet and undisturbed, plenty of space. Walking distance to all shops and pubs. Ideal stopover if you are happy with a municipal carpark.

  • 5/5

just stayed here for the night, free parking for 1 night out of 7. woke up and went for a breakfast at latte da coffee and kitchen absolutely, lovely breakfast and coffee

  • 5/5

It is a great stopover. We parked at the bottom near the (very clean) toilets. Carpark pretty sloping, not very many vehicles in it. Paid £5 for 2 hours to park 8-10 am which I wouldn't have done had we not stayed the night before. Good Chinese Takeaway. Think Powys CC are being imaginative and using their parking well but fairly.

Quiet, free parking between 6pm and 8am. Nice pubs and local taproom in the village, with places to eat too. First left after the Tourist Information building (as you pass it on your left) ? not super flat but not a problem as it’s quiet so can pick a good spot!

  • 4/5

Great central spot in beautiful Crickhowell. We parked at the bottom of the slope and were pretty level. All day parking for £4 after a free night. Good toilets and sinks with hot water in the tourist office, open daytime only.

Exactly as described in comments. Parked here overnight end of June 2023. Only one of the payment machines takes a card. You need to go to the top one but contactless wasn’t working. Inserting a card worked fine.

  • 5/5

As described in post/comments. Parked here in February and it was ideal.

  • 5/5

Great little spot in the middle of a lovely little town but still surprisingly quiet considering we stayed on a bank holiday weekend. Only a slight slope at the top and not massively noticeable

  • 5/5

Lovely little spot for an overnight. Managed to get one of the more level spaces and was a quiet and peaceful night. The town has everything you could need and we when in the Crickhowell Adventure shop and they weee very helpful.

Car park was ok, slightly sloped. Great for one night stop ok

  • 5/5

I had my hesitations because it’s just a carpark but it was really quiet and the town is small but very sweet. Perfect over night stop. Good 4h signal with EE and 3

  • 5/5

Free parking between 6pm-8pm, after that you have to pay, but it’s pretty cheap. toilets available.

  • 4/5

Conforme à la description. De plus, il n’y a pas d’ombre.

  • 4/5

A bit of noise (not deliberate, just groups saying goodbye etc as they got in their cars) late into the night on a Saturday. But reasonably level, free, very close walk to many good pubs and a Chinese takeaway

  • 5/5

Perfect for a night. Nice and quiet. 4G

  • 5/5

You can stay here 1 night in 7, large car park mainly sloping with some flat spaces at the bottom. Very quiet (free from 6pm till 8am). Toilets open at 7.30. Lovely town, very picturesque and very friendly people. Not sure about breakfast because places didn't open till after 8. 30 but highly recommended stop.

  • 5/5

Parked for one night, free after 6pm and allows all sizes of motorhomes. There’s a daytime tariff that starts at 8am. The car park slopes slightly unless you’re towards the front. There are toilets but they were closed from 5pm-8.30am so take your own. Nice enough pizza/chip shop just down the alley, great coffee shop opposite. Perfect place to park to walk up Table Mountain and beyond.

bit of a slope, camper 0800 - 1800 £6 card or cash 1800 - 0800 free 1 night in seven really quite after 1900. real nice town/people toilets in the information office yummy kitchen for mega portions

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Great place. Few other camper vans and motorhomes parked up too

  • 5/5

First time using the app. Nice quiet tucked away spot with plenty of spaces. Parking is definitely free until 8am although the only thing I'm unsure about is whether you're still supposed to display a £0 ticket. The machines weren't playing ball when I arrived at 1am so I didn't. Toilets opened at 7:30am

  • 5/5

Had a great 1 night stay here. Nice little town. People very friendly.

  • 5/5

Great to stay for 1 night. Sloping spaces but there are flat spots at the bottom, may have to wait for car park to empty of day visitors. Local shops and river walks. Great pub food and drinks at the Britannia Inn!

  • 5/5

Great free overnighter - permitted one night in seven. All spaces sloping. New parking charges in place based on vehicle type - am unable to post up to date photo of sign. Charges range between £1 -£4 for smaller vehicles and between £2 - £8 for larger vehicles.

  • 4/5

Easy to find and quiet. Free overnight and and only £4 for the day. Toilets open and 7:30 and the town is quiet until after 9am with queues outside the bakery for coffee and breakfast. Join early.

Stayed here for the second time and again it was another quiet night. It's a lovely little town and good for walking. You can get quite level with blocks on the upper part of the car park. There is good 4G signal here.

Stayed here last night flat near information centre plus toilets open 7.30 in the morning close by. Nice quiet night

Quiet night spent here. Pity the flat parking is nearer to the buildings and shops. Lovely village
