Boy racers ruined this spot flying up and down the hill until midnight

Worst stop ever. best avoided. local idiots racing up and down all night .had to move at 2am . would not recommend.

Stayed on a saturday night. we parked at the top of the coach area. returned from the pub at around 8 to find that as other have said full of boy racers. my some of the cars are loud. we just turned the TV up, they didnt bother us and it was all over by 10.30. great spot for visiting chedder being only a 5 minute walk away.

Arrived 8 pm on Sunday evening in a 8m motorhome, looking forward to being able to find a space and park up (no chance during day in Easter holidays) and enjoy walking the next day. Car park was full of boy racers in modified cars, and the rubber all over the road left no doubt as to what their plans were. We moved on to the nearby reservoir, and can only hope we have better luck tomorrow morning

Great scenery but dead right about the boy racers. Apparently Friday night is the big racing party night to avoid. We arrived 10:30pm Saturday night and were disturbed by 4 cars until about 1am. Other nights may be fine. If you want to go any other day I suggest using the gravel layby on the left half a mile further to the road, a little further away from the main car park area.

Wir wollten an einem Freitagabend hier übernachten, Straße durch die Schlucht wurde von Rasern mit lauten Autos als Rennstrecke benutzt, durch die hohen Felswände wurde der Lärm noch extrem verstärkt. Zudem stellten sich 2 Autos direkt neben unser Wohnmobil und provozieren offensichtlich durch laute Musik u. Singen. Das hat uns dazu veranlasst, wieder weg zu fahren. Schade,denn tolle Landschaft.

Fairly loud on the road in the evening with boy racers up and down the road but not all night. Closet toilet we found was in costa in the main part of the gorge
