Nature magnifique peut-être, à condition de fermer les yeux sur la monstrueuse centrale nucléaire de Dukovany à deux pas de là. Pour notre part nous avons fait demi-tour.

Our campsite is located at the foot of Schönbühel Castle, between Melk and Aggstein on the right bank of the Danube. On an area of around 7,000 m², with beautiful old trees, every camper will find a place to relax and unwind. The campsite is located directly on the Danube cycle path and a comfortable distance from the nearest road. The campsite faces west and offers the most beautiful sunsets in the Wachau in the evenings. Camping Forteca! Great natural campsite around a small lake, plots of different levels with a view. On-site restaurant, outdoor seating area under gazebos, next to the fountain. Starting point for many excursions in the area. Wroclaw about 50 km away. The operator, who also speaks German and English, is happy to give tips for bike tours. Clean, new amenities. Pedal boat rental, campfires allowed. Fast WiFi on the terraces in front of the restaurant. Original camping experience!
